“Breathtaking Palace”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 August 2014 via mobile

One of the beautiful sightseeing monuments to see in Tehran. Nor only the city and the people are truly kind and welcoming, the places, the gardens, the monuments, palaces are overwhelming.
This is one of the best to visit though. You'll enter a beautiful palace, full of chambers and gardens and water. The mirrors are a constant thing in the rooms as well as beautiful well preserved furniture. Tehran beholds a vast culture and beautiful places that you shouldn't miss. This is one of that places.

“The best palace in Teran”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 July 2014

Golestan palace is the oldest palace in Tehran and it is a must see place for visitor.
It is located in the south of Tehran just 15 minutes away from Ntional museum and very close to Tehran Bazzar so together they can be a good package to visit in one day.

“Take your time, worth it”

Huge compound, allocate at least a few hours. Our rush rush visit was not enough and we will have to come back for more in the future. The complex closed at 5pm - double check and plan accordingly.

“Magnificent Palace”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 July 2014

This wonderful palace makes you go back in time and live in the Qajar dinasty era. It is the oldest historic monument in Tehran.
The palace is compound with 17 palaces, with water pools and beaultiful gardens. It is very peaceful, despite the sorrounding crowd in the main bazar located near the palace.
Great place to relax, meditate and take your family for a walk.

“True Iranian architecture!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 July 2014

Do not miss this palace complex. If you don't have a lot of time and have to be selective, choose this place as an example of a traditional Iranian architecture sample.
