well, i maybe was a bit naive and use dthe One review that sounded positive on this hotel on T.Advisor and the nice looking pictures and I asked my agent in Baghdad to book my 16 rooms at Masbah Plaza instead of the one he originally suggested and always used for his groups from other countries! boy oh boy, was I in for a stunning surprise! This hotel is so bad, I had 15 travelers screaming an yelling at me all at the same time popping out of their rooms asking for different things and trying to solve all their problems was monumental and indeed that same night I left to nearby hotels and signed a contrafct with nother one and the next morning moved my group there after breakfast! The hotel has serious maintainance issues, the AC did not work in all rooms, the TV and dish are so complicated with 3 remotes people gave up on trying to watch CNN, the beds are hard like rock, the floors and carpets were FILTHY, with food crums, stains, unidentifiable objects and bathrooms smelled like sewage! To top it all, they resented putting for any room a towel in their bathrooms and the excuse they insisted to give me was that the Ministry of Health prohibits them to put towels for guests because it carries germs and microbes and people can get sick!!!!!!! after a burst in their faces, they scrambled to get a few torn ugly hard material "things" they called towels and gave one to each, you figure.. that has to be used for face, shower and any other purposes. I urge anyonew to avoid COMPLETELY this hotel if they can.. it is a disgrace!

Room Tip: there ain't a good rom, I had the bridal suite and it was a room from hell, with short bed, funky red flowers and one sheet that is smaller than bed size and lots of food on the floor too!!
