The hotel isn't just tired, it's exhausted! It's dirty, in bad repair, has extremely poor services and is positively dangerous in places. Worn and dirty carpets, broken beds, windows that can't lock, broken furniture, emergency stairs blocked with old furniture which is against safety regulations.....an endless list of shockingly bad conditions. We tried to find just 1 reasonable aspect to the hotels facilities and features, and couldn't. It's simply dreadful. Stay anywhere but here.

Actually, the street where the Kuwait Hyatt is located is not actually Cairo Street but the street in front of the hotel is obscure. We realized this when using a GPS device from the airport. It's enough to say Cairo Street is very close. If parking in the front of the hotel, be careful as there is a side alley where drivers cut through. Parking is definitely tight and there is no valet service. We have family that live in the area of this hotel, and wanted to be close to them. If you plan to stay at this hotel, you should have transportation to shop and find food.

There are a few reasons why this hotel remains operational. There is a wedding hall which can be seen from the breakfast area. From what I gather, there are weddings in this hall quite frequently. The better reason for being in business is that the Kuwait Hyatt has a large outdoor sitting area plus gardens. The gardens are fairly neat and well kept. There are tables with cushioned chairs for those who want to relax. For the kids they have swings and other play equipment. Most of the locals, including expats come to the gardens to meet friends and smoke hookahs. In the front center of the garden is a large television which is used for watching sports events. Large crowds visited the Kuwait Hyatt Gardens during Eid Al-Adha, as the management had to keep adding tables and chairs. I really respected the Manager in charge of the gardens because he was always on hand to fix any delays with food or tables. We ate out in the gardens on two different nights and the food was great. Did I mention the bread oven close to the Kuwait Hyatt Gardens? This is delicious bread. The baker starts baking in the after noon and stays well after midnight. He loves to show people how he bakes the bread too. I would often see staff walking into the lobby area with a good handful of bread, probably for their lunch.

The breakfast at the Kuwait Hyatt has average variety, Arabic-fare foods. I believe they have brewed coffee but finding someone to fetch it is a challenge. While the bed in the room was very comfortable, the rest of the room was average. The chambermaid Ana Lisa was very sweet and kept our tea and Nescafe packets filled and the room in clean towels and extra pillows. The trim work in the bathroom was quite poor, with tiles placed upside down and messy caulking. Still, the basic functions were served. They could definitely use more lighting in the ceiling in both the bedroom and the bathroom.

We did not try the internet but there were several guests in the garden area using the wi-fi and we heard no complaints.

I want to say that the young lady taking reservations provided supreme service despite all the obstacles we had communicating. This hotel requested credit card information via email. Instead of sending my information via email I called the hotel. We were finally in touch just before the flight. Very sweet lady, who really tried to make the reservations complete.

Incidentally, marriage certificates are often required upon check-in. We were told to bring it but reception did not ask for the information.

I was very unhappy. The hotel was dirty and I was in 3 different rooms before realising the place is just not clean. The food was poor and service was like "faulty towers". Just a dreadful property badly managed and quite nasty. I would suggest you look elsewhere!

The rooms are ok but nothing special, they were spacious but not very clean. The bathroom was below average. The breakfast is included and is Ok but again do not expect anything great.
The service was horrible at lunch and dinner times and at reception they were not very helpful. The WIFI was free but it was extremely slow and did not work 80% of the times.
The price is very expensive for the real quality of the hotel and services.
The location is horrible and it is not near anything special, 10 minutes by taxi to Kuwait City center. For the price your going to pay there are much better hotels in Kuwait.

the park Hyatt Tokyo is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. This is one of the worst. It is NOT A HYATT it is more like a hayat. Honestly it's basically ok. It's very cheap, has large rooms and is about 80% clean. Breakfast is atrocious but free. You could sustain yourself. If the name had been other than the misleading Hyatt I would have given it 3 stars. It is good value for money. One other thing, locatn is not good. It's in the middle of nowhere compared to down town and you'll have to cab it or drive each time. A cab is 3 dinar about 12 usd per trip. There pis no cab stand, you need to wait 5 m while they call you one. The staff are very friendly and nice. Service was fine.

Stayed here for 3 nights as part of a larger group. Was my maiden visit to the region and so am not very clued in on all the other options that are available in the city. The stay was ok on the whole. Rooms were mid-sized and came with a balcony that faced the front of the hotel. We only had breakfast at the hotel. Was a small spread, with a mix of local cuisine as well.

We were on the 4th floor and the decor seemed to be on the older side. Noticed a more newer & possibly renovated look on some of the other floors.

Ok hotel on the whole and not to be mistaken as part of the worldwide Hyatt chain.
