This museum is currently undergoing renovations but otherwise is a decent museum with nice exhibits.. Could be better. I was not disappointed. It is worth an hour or two. Stop by in your in town.

As you enter the museum compound you might just think that there isn't anything to see.

The museum is slowly being rebuilt after the descruction from the war. There are about four buildings within the compund. The first you come across is an exhibit of archeological finds but is not very interesting. Have a look anyway and appreciate what the museum does still have since everything was stolen by the Iraqis. Whatever wasn't stolen was destroyed. Some items are being returned.

Go further into the compound and there is another building with two small cannons at the door. This is the lattest building to be renovated and the exhibits are fantastic. There are many different displays of tradional Kuwaiti life and some are very life-like.....we really enjoyed this.

The museum is open quite late into the evening.

I would reccomend a visit for sure !!!

The collection is decent but the presentation is poorly done. The signs are not tourist friendly. Everything is in Arabic.
