It is a nice experience to stay a hotel like JW Marriot. You will have a great time out there. This is really a good experience during my stay there. They offered good services and the employees are very polite.

Fine for a short business trip but nothing exceptional, as many have stated a City View room will most likely get you a view of the Cemetery, so if you really do want a city view be insistent (city view is on the opposite side of the corridor).

The hotel F&B was VERY average, and a let down in my opinion for a JW Marriott, I probably ate the worst steak I have ever had at their Steak House.

Only other issue was that the room was not quite clean enough, old drink wrappers under the furniture is not acceptable for a 5 star hotel.

Stayed for a couple of nights on business. The service and room was up to the usual Marriot standards. The ambiance was slightly let down by the fact my room overloook a large graveyard. Service was good, they allowed me to check in early, they ironed a shirt for me at short notice. In the room there were a couple of issues, the internet wouldn't work and the shower control malfunctioned. Good enough for business but not quite excellent.

Room Tip: Stay at the front to avoid a view of the graveyard

I have stayed in Marriotts all over the world and the JW Marriott Kuwait is one of my worst experiences ever. First of all there is the problem that it sits adjacent to a large cemetery, both my windows looked out on to this horrific sight of desert wasteland with mounds where the graves were placed. No drains in the bathrooms, although this may sound trivial, it allows for a guest to flood the whole room and of course the hotel does not want to take the time to take all the carpet out to prevent mildew, so my room smelled like mildew. The food was also not good for a hotel of the caliber. This may be a pet peeve of mine as an American but do not call a menu item something it is not, this happened with the Philly Cheese Steak that had very little resemblance to the elixir of life one finds on the streets of Philadelphia. As a business hotel, there was no wireless, I have my iPhone, iPad and laptop and wanted to connect to all, which in most if not all hotels now has this capability, I had to plug into the wall like it was 1998. Finally, something I always say about Kuwait, stop imposing your beliefs on me! Kuwait will never, ever be a world class city like Dubai due to that fact that they do not allow alcohol or pork products. These two thing in and of themselves are not the issue, it is the fact that I am not a Muslim so I do not want their rules imposed on me. Do not go to this hotel!!

Room Tip: Ask not to be put in a room facing the graveyard.

Hotel was very nice and near the Airport. The room was spacious and was I was greeted with fruit, water and various baklava in my room on the coffee table. Staff were very helpful and arranged for someone to meet me at the airport. This enabled me to fast track through the visa process. The hotel also provided a driver to pick me up and drop me to and from the airport.

I used the JW in Kuwait for more than 7 months of stays in the last 6 years. It is very suitable for business trips, with good restaurants and easy access to the main business buildings. The rooms are spacious and the overall experience is just perfect.
