Very high standard and an excellent location right in the middle of Kuwait. Good for business trips although a couple of times i did have an issue with the internet, but when it happened it was speedily resolved. Breakfast and restaurant very good - i definately recommend the salad tasters at dinner. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Some of the rooms overlook a mosque which can be a bit noisy, esp in the summer with early sunrise!

Le Royal Tower Hotel turned out to be an excellent hotel choice. We were looking for a nice hotel that included airport transfers, a breakfast inclusive rate, and free wifi. The property was clean and very well maintained, but the clear highlight was the staff. Before our arrival we had several email dialogues about flight changes, tour recommendations, and tips for the city. Each time the hotel team was prompt, professional, and extremely helpful. This might sound like it should be common practice; however, our experience is that hotels often do not answer emails or provide terse unhelpful replies.

Our flight arrived just past midnight so we were especially happy to be welcomed by a very courteous driver as we cleared immigration. When we arrived at the hotel the night manager greeted us by name and had everything ready for us. We in our room in just a few minutes, again this is not always the case but very much appreciated after 24 hours of traveling.

The included breakfast was very good, a nice mixture of western and middle eastern dishes. The staff were incredibly attentive and frequently asked if there was anything special we wanted.

The Le Royal Tower hotel location is very central and close to many of the large western brand hotels (Sheraton, JW Marriott). There are even western fast food places nearby (KFC, Starbucks) for those who really need them. The highlight of the location for us was the proximity to an Indian community complete with authentic indian restaurants, hypermarkets catering to the large Indian and Filipinos expat populations, and a maze of small shops. In a way this was the souk for the expats and was fascinating to explore. We ate dinner at an Indian restaurant where we enjoyed an outstanding meal for just a few Kuwaiti Dinars.

The brand advertises itself as "boutique hotels with five star service" and we would agree. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for high room with a view.

I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel for a couple of nights while on business in Kuwait. As part of the price of the room, I was picked up at the airport in a private limousine and also dropped of for my return ( a great plus for a business traveler). I had a beautiful and well equipped large king bed room. The wifi worked well and I was able to access the internet easily. There was a nice fruit basket in the room on arrival. Two things that went wrong during my stay- the key card to open the room which also had to be inserted to switch on the lights, even though it was placed in the right position would sometimes switch on the lights, sometimes not. I found out after I complained from the staff that if you inserted it too deeply it would not work….Music would come on and off in the room without a reason. This is something that the hotel was aware of as when I complained they told me they had a problem which was fixed before I left; they were kind enough to leave a letter with a nice pie in the room with their apology. I had the buffet breakfast which was of good quality and also had lunch one day. The service was bit uncoordinated. The location in downtown Kuwait City is good especially if you are meeting with banks and government institutions. I found the room rate with taxes etc rather high.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in a high floor with a view of the sea!
