“Exceptional”
Reviewed 3 June 2013

Was booked in to Le Gray by a client. Had eaten there before but never stayed there. In a word, exceptional. From the pick-up at the airport to the drop-off, in the same new, clean and comfortable Audi, and through a terrific roof terrace lunch and drinks by the pool, this hotel really is what you want throughout a busy business trip.

Really nice touch was the complimenmtary pressing of your business shirt upon arrival.

Go to Le Gray.

The Le Gray is a great hotel with the perfect location to visit downtown Beirut with easy access to other neighbourhoods. The service is outstanding and all are very friendly and helpful. The bar on top is really nice place to relax and the restaurant is also set nicely. The artwork on display in the hotel is amazing.
The only setback is breakfast, which is a real pity. The cold breakfast is below expectations, especially the quality and choice of breads and of cold foods. The hot breakfast however is good, freshly prepared as expected from an international hotel.

Wow, This hotel iz Amazing!
I can stated my words In many reasons.. Coming from Dubai to visit Beirut for the first time and have my booking done by my co-worker overthere where expectation was a bit lower, but being big suprised from the very first contact on the airport where is pickup by the concierge lady and a limo parked outside waiting for me only..!. Hotel facilites are great also..in house are professional cigar and wine somelier, plus the best pizza in town..in all day dinning rest. which is quite surprising right!? Among the great location, a lot of people passing by to grab their seat and just chill, this is the very pleasant and vibrant Hotel which had many other quality to offer. Happy staying!

While I use Tripadvisor all of the time to read reviews, I never write them. I actually joined today for the sole purpose of writing this review because of an outstanding experience that deserved documentation.

A stay at Le Gray ticks off all of the boxes for a boutique hotel luxury experience... impeccable and friendly service, beautifully designed state-of-the-art contemporary rooms with all of the details that you would expect (the towel warmer, rain shower, flat screen tv, expresso machine, down pillows, cashmere-like slippers, etc), perfect location from views of the Mosque at your seat at breakfast to views of the CHANEL boutique from your balcony.

With savvy well-traveled individuals, however, it is hard for a hotel to go beyond their client's expectations. Luckily, I'm pleased to write that it happened to us. Lisa Jerejian, who is in charge of client relations at Le Gray made our trip simply perfect. In less than 30 seconds, she was able to assess and understand the type of people we are, our taste level and needs and created an itinerary that will never be forgotten.

Lisa is extremely well connected in Beirut and, as such, every restaurant, bar and tour took special care of us as if we were VIP clients. It is the detail that makes an experience special. She stayed in contact with us every day and night of our trip (even when she had a day or night off) to ensure that each and every moment was not just good but great. She is passionate about what she does and takes great pride in her work. She created needs and desires for us that we didn't even know that we had despite the plethora of research we did before the trip.

She turned what could have been just a nice getaway to see a new city and country into a memorable experience where we felt like our cool best friend was with us leading the way at all times.

I looked at the Four Seasons and while it is also a beautiful hotel, I wouldn't think twice before telling you to plan your stay at Le Gray. It is 'a must'. The ultimate in luxury in every sense.

What a fantastic hotel. Lisa, the concierge, was the most attentive and hard working host we've ever had. She saw we had a short stay and planned out our stay getting us into great restaurants and bars and clubs outlining when to go where. No need to get a guidebook! The room was amazing and comfortable. The rooftop pool was spectacular. I can't wait to go back.

Beirut is not complete without a visit to Le Gray (Hotel) and the Cigar club / rooftop bar on the top floor. Highly recommended to take a drink before dinner and watching the sun go down. Havn't tried the restaurant which is more of a romantic dinner selection for two. The view overlooking Beirut is absolutely magnificent.
