First i would like to talk about the Rooms, the Rooms in this hotel are the BIGGEST REGULAR ROOMS I Have ever been to! The Rooms are absolutely Beautiful and Spacious, Very Very Clean rooms.
The Breakfast Buffet is Delicious! a lot of things to choose from and all are good.
I Think what i liked the best is the Value for your money we stayed for 5 Nights for only 300 Dollars each!
And what i hated is the Location, its not that bad but other is better.

I stayed overnight while transiting Beirut. I agree with previous comments that it is a practical place to stay if you want to be near the airport, but not a great choice if you want to experience downtown Beirut. My room was rather plain and could have done with some re-decoration. The "sports bar" was sterile and lifeless. I have, however, given this place four stars rather than three on the basis of the staff who were friendly and helpful. I also got a pretty reasonable price on the internet.

I stayed at the Marriott in Beirut for three nights in early November. The hotel is beautiful, with clean rooms, good security and an attentive staff. It is, however, located in a non-descript suburb halfway between the city center and the airport. That might be convenient for those just flying in and out of Beirut but it's a pain if you want to use the hotel as a base to see the sights. A taxi into town will cost you about $10. You're better off staying at the Meridien in Hamra if you want to explore downtown Beirut.

I stayed for 3 nights in this hotel and I am very pleased with rooms, service and the friendly staff. It is good for a business stay as well as for leisure. The friendly staffs show the Lebanese hospitality at its best!

After a long Business day, try the gym; it is complete and even has a trainer ready to advise you.
It was a great choice and I would certainly stay in the Marriot for my next trip.

The Marriott is really an excellent hotel. I stayed there for 4 nights earlier this month. The service was great, nice friendly professional staff. Twice daily maid service (even though the cleaners were men!)
Both the female and male reception staff were courteous and smiling.
The rooms are quite large even by North American standards.
The location is quiet yet near all the sites.
The buffet breakfast was really fit for royalty, a huge slection with a chef to take your orders too.
A nice classy 5 star hotel with a rate that's much cheaper than comparable hotels in Beirut. Will return again.

Just came back from an 8 night stay at the Beirut Marriott and I don't have enough words to describe how good this hotel is and how vibrant this beautiful city is.The lobby is opulent with chrome mirrors, scented candles, classy flower arrangements, an oak lobby bar and wonderful young friendly receptionists who are experts in professional and prompt service.

I was given a room on the 1st floor which had 2 comfortable queen beds. The room was extremely spacious with a sitting area and nice desk (and this is only a standard room!)and 3 phones .The bathroom was huge divided into 2 parts, one for the tub and commode and another for the sinks and vanity mirror. The room also had a partial view of the Mediterranean with its magnificent dark blue water. The hotel's location is perfect being in a quiet upscale residential area halfway between downtown and the airport (a cab ride to the shopping and nightlife area costs a mere $3 US).

The breakfast buffet was lavish with a chef to take your orders.I would like to especially mention the very accommodating young lady called Joelle who worked at the Palms restaurant.Thank you Joelle for such great service.

I also had fun at Champions bar where I had an excellent chicken burger.

The only slight drawback to the stay was the older TV set which needed an upgrade with the remote control being not so reliable.

Other than that an excellent stay and I recommend this wonderful hotel to all visitors to this beautiful city.
