So the positives. Great facilities, pool, location and breakfast.
Negatives, staff helpfulness, my room/floor was rather noisy, which I attributed to the fact that the door had a chunk missing out of the top of it. Also the cleanliness of the room left a little to be desired.
I brought these up at the time of the stay but seemed to not really raise an eyebrow.
This is unfortunate as it could be one of the best hotels in Beirut. The possibility is here. However for me, back to the Phoenicia I go...
Restaurants and food was ok, nothing special, but definitely not bad. I had the surf and turf and wasn't even asked how I like my steak. Needless to say it was overcooked.More
