Description: Bar Tartine is nestled in a charming terrace in the heart of the Achrafieh neighborhood of Mar Mikhael. But there's more to Bar Tartine than meets the eye. What differentiates this restaurant from others is the fact that it has an annexed bakery downstairs, Tartine Bakery, which produces fresh bread, pastries and desserts for both Bar Tartine and walk-in customers throughout the day. Unlike other local hangouts, Bar Tartine has a personality and a flavor of its own. It serves a range of delicious dishes, including steaks, pizzas, salads, and sandwiches made with the different types of bread that come fresh out of the bakery. Whatever your order, you will always be delightfully pleased with the consistency of Bar Tartine's quality, taste and freshness, and in the variety of all of its menu items and options. Want to try an absolute must-have? Then bite into their mouth-watering Camembert burger, or the mellow chocolate cake. The more you taste their specials, the harder it gets to choose a favorite, so fair warning: you might just have to try everything on the menu. Enjoy.

BarTartine has many branches in Lebanon, the Mar Mikhael branch is my favorite due to it's location and setting. All of the branches serve amazing breakfasts, breads and tarts. They also serve food that look and smell very tasty and healthy. Hope they keep the good quality while keeping the prices as they are!

If you love exclairs, chocolate or strawberries search no more, bartartine is the place.
They have pastry selection but the exclairs are simply the best in town. Forget about Chez Paul, bartartine is the place in that category.

This is such a lovely bakery and great for picking up lovely patisserie and taking it back to your apartment. It opens early before most places on the road and the prices are reasonable.

We have the pain au chocolats the first morning which were delicious. What I liked is that they don't take the patisserie from the main window area but from near the oven so they are so fresh when you buy them.

The next day, we had a selection. The fromage croissant was amazing.

The staff were friendly and service was quick. A lovely place to go in the morning after a busy night out.

The atmosphere was really nice we sat once outdoors in the garden and the second time indoors and truly enjoyed both. their Mexican eggs and their flat pizza were the best orders . their croissants were very average .

Very nice cozy cafe. Their eggs are superb and so are the breads they bake. Their pasteries are average for lebanon, maybe cause they were not hot. Their coffee was ok. Worth while to try and chill out if its on the way
