Wow, the rooms are really big! Loved the space. You have a couch and a chair. Also enough of closet space. You can easily stay here longer, when that is necessary. Indeed the location is not on a main road, but our taxi drivers didn't have any problems to find it.
Wifi worked perfect. You are located near the Corniche and the Islamic Arts Museum, and to Souq Waqif. The souq was our favorite spot in Doha.

Excellent room 1111! We had a great time. Especially the room service was delicious and the room service staff eager to please and change things to you liking. Only problem was the shower stall with water spilling out into the main toilet without anywhere to go and kept the toilet wet.

Room very large, bathroom large and new with shower and bath. Was dubious after some reviews, but I was more than happy, clean, lovely staff.Extensive choice of breakfast.Good pool,Gym.Would recommend. Some reviews on here were quite negative but I decided to give it a try.And I was not dissapointed .It was near to Corniche, lovely to walk along,It is in the old town, but near to the Souqs,Taxi are cheap,so if you want to go to the West Bay is easy.Hotel next door has good Bar and nightclub. The room has everything you need, fridge, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, tea, coffee making facilities, and complementary bathroom products.AC very good,And housekeeping very good and friendly.Would definitely stay there again

Room Tip: It didn't bother me,but there is a mosque next door, the call to prayer is quite loud, maybe ask f...

I spent 7 nights, it was very nice room, a large one for 1 person, full of facilities like flat screen with not bad channel collection, iron with table, complementary daily water bottles, coffee & 2 different kind if tea with boiler & mini fridge.
The view was not bad although I was looking for better view for "Dafna" area.
Big bathroom with shower cabinet & tub.
They put daily Arabic & English newspapers on the door.
The reception guys were friendly & helpful all the time.
Free wifi in the room was speedy but the coverage was not good, I used to stand beside the door to have good signal.
The room is clean but the carpet was dirty & need to be replaced.
Parking area in front off the hotel is little bit small.
The location is amazing because it is 10 minutes to the airport by car & 10 minutes waking to Souk Wakef & five minutes to a local market ( I bought G-Shock watch for good price after bargaining.
The have nice pool & gym but I haven't time to try them :(
Breakfast is extremely expensive 88 QR so I filled my fridge with stuff.
I will use this hotel again.

Book through your airline or hotel.com/ to get the $109 per night rate (no breakfast incl). At check in you'll be greeted with a refreshingly cold stemware glass of apple juice. Ask for a room away from the Mosque. In this arab capitol city, mosques are everywhere and so are hotels. So don't be put off by the nearby mosque as every hotel has mosque nearby. Swiss Belhotel is a ten minute taxi from the airport (28 QR) by Karwa taxi (at the airport, go the taxi rank, all cabs are metered, no rip offs). From the hotel, back to the airport, the taxi is 10 QR. The Qatari govt. will not allow the hotel desk to call Karwa for a taxi to transport a guest. No problem. Just walk one city block to the main drag and hail a cab to the airport or anywhere. If not, you pay 40 QR for the hotel limo car. Anita is the most professional and service oriented front desk employee. Ask for her. My room on the 8th floor was huge and spotlessly clean. The carpet could use a vacuum but totally met my standards. The shower and bath and toilet facilities were top drawer. I have not one complaint. Suq Waqif is a 10 to 12 minute walk from the hotel and a ten minute stroll to the fabulous and free Museum of Islamic Art. For a 28 cent bottle (1.5 litre) of water, go to the shop 1 block away on the main drag. The Bank of Doha for currency exchange is also 1 block away in the same direction as the grocery shop for water and fresh fruit and veggies. Maxill restaurant in the hotel is reviewed separately. Why stay anywhere else in Doha?

Room Tip: Use the stainless steel, clean tea/coffee kettle in the room for a free cup of joe or tea. And don...

This hotel advertises multiple restaurants and a bar on its website as does hotels.com for this hotel. Of the supposed 3 restaurants (including a sushi one) there is in fact only one (a fairly basic one and no sushi). The other falsely presented 2 restaurants and bar closed many months ago but are still being promoted. I have repeatedly complained to hotels.com about their and Swiss Belhotel Doha's misrepresentation but hotels.com is acting like an ostrich in not addressing my complaint. Both Swiss Belhotel Doha and hotels.com are offering what does not exist under false pretences and that, I believe, is contrary to the UK's distance selling regulations 2000. I did not wish to publicise this as stated in my original complaint to hotels.com but their intransigence is now forcing me to do so.
