“Nice taste of Morocco”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 June 2014

Had a nice experience here and ordered the Lamb Tajine, baby chicken Tajine, Saffron rice and Lime with Mint drink. Thoroughly enjoyed the baby chicken Tajine.

“Not true Moroccan food, poor service”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 May 2014

Such a shame that a restaurant like this is in the souk. The Souk is for tourists, and they shouldn't get stuck with such a bad restaurant. My husband is Moroccan, so we obviously know what true Moroccan food is. This isn't. The soup (Harira) tastes like dishwater. No flavor at all. Our waiter got half of our order wrong, and one of our guests had to wait so long that we had all finished out food (well, not finished, but poked at it) when her's arrived. The chicken skewers were dry and tasteless. The french fries were soaked in salt. Barely edible. Many of the items are not true Moroccan. They took some ideas of Moroccan cooking and added their own spin. There are so many other restaurants in the souk that are better. Don't go!!! Also, the upstairs outdoor area was very dusty and dirty.

“Not too bad”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 April 2014

In the souq, we were recommended this one. The service was average, the food was ok. Nothing to write home about. We had one tagine and one mixed grill, the mixed grill was very ordinary and the tagine was nice.

Would go somewhere else to be honest.

“Best Seesha in Town!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 March 2014

So far i have been to a lot of seesha places, but none of them even come close to this place. If u are visiting souq waqif, you should visit this place. The place also offers a range of Moroccan dishes(even water). best part about this is that its open 24 hours!!

Advice : On a weekend, either reach before 8 or go after 1am, else you'll be disappointed as it would be jam packed!!
