“Looks like apartment not hotel”
Reviewed 7 September 2013 via mobile

This is the second time for me to stay in century hotel, from the first time you enter the lobby you can not imagine that this is an hotel as it has a very small area with only one small sitting area, the rooms are well furnished and clean but a little bit small. As usual also the restaurent is very small but this time with worst breakfast ever.

The hotel offers good quality accommodation however in old area area in Doha. Recommended for budget traveller. Good quality and cheap breakfast is available outside the hotel if you feel adventurous. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Will stay again in the future.

PRO

1) Hotel furnishings
2) Breakfast (same items for the three days I was there, but consistent quality of food for those 3 days)
3) Bed linen good ( no pillow selection)
4) Shower and toilet space allocation well spaced out
5) Literally 5 mins from the airport

CONS

1) Location is critical if you don’t have a rent a car or someone picking you up, taxi is not found easily and it’s a good 10 minute walk in the open sunny sky for a main road where the chances of finding one improve. So if you have daily material to haul from your hotel its best to plan ahead and carry tissue paper to dry yourself up from the sweat!

2) There seems to be confusion of what seems to be advertised in terms of room types and rooms given, best to ask reception to send you a picture of the room they plan to allocate to you if you pay in advance for the stay

3) The LAN port on the desk does not work, you have to ask repeatedly for "someone" "anyone" to provide you with a long enough LAN cable that runs from the side table where the phone is kept to the desk where you need to work from.

4) Staff in the breakfast area are very reserved!

5) The toilet does not have a personal hygiene hand shower, it has a bidet, which these days are more cosmetic then what its function is supposed to do.

6) Lighting in the toilet could be better, if you like to read your morning paper

7) Not much of a sea view if you get a room on the sides of the hotel, more of a construction crane/ sea view

Overall I would return back if there was lack of availability in other hotels Doha!

Room Tip: If you’re coming out from the airport take a registered airport taxi. The private taxi will try and...

This hotel is located in really bad area. The streets around this hotel is so small and narrowed. So hard hard to get to the downstairs parking lot since the drive way is so narrow and it can damage your car.the room is one of the smallest room I ever lived in. Its something around 2.5 meter by 3 meter. I will not return at all

It’s a nice hotel for Business Trips. It’s quite expensive if it’s on your wallet. The service is fine. The staff and room service staff are friendly.
Their breakfast is reasonable, but their dinner buffets are good.
The chef at Monde Restaurant is Tunisian, so the Arabic food is of extraordinary quality. There isn’t any Indian food.
A decent choice for Business travelers, considering the fact that you can get to Airport in 10 minutes.

Room Tip: Ask for Rooms in Top Floor Front Side, the view is good...

This one is really a bad hotel at the price which its been charged at. You can get much better options in Qatar at similar or less price. The check-in was quick but i think that was the only good thing about this hotel. The rooms were big but the facilities were very mediocre. The location was also very mediocre. The breakfast was terrible to say the least...The hash brown available had oil dripping from them. All in all this one should be avoided at all costs.

It's 4 minutes from the airport and the hotel will have a driver to take you to the hotel. They also offered the return journey. The room is a little small but perfectly functional for people on business or staying for a night or 2. Breakfast is good and with a wide choice. A trip to the corniche in the evening can take time but in real terms it's only 10 minutes away.
Staff at friendly, chatty and fun.

Room Tip: Som rooms have sea views and airport views.the back I quiet.
