One of the unique places in Doha, I would say in the Middle East, sometimes I go there alone, sometime with family and sometime with friends. I take my regular long walks at least four days a week, Some times I take a long slow walk, just absorbing the surroundings. I also used to sit simply looking at the skyline. Every visit is unique. Weekends is full of life with families and children, week days specially Sundays are quiet.
A good place to hang around during summer nights. During winter, the malabar tea across the road in the park is tempting. The cleanliness, ambiance, parks, the small work out places, the decorated boats and their faint Arabic music, skyline with the flights taking off and landing every minute at a distance, everything about the place is awesome.

A walk along the Corniche is a must-do for tourists to Qatar. Bring water and a sunhat and pace yourself according to the weather. A winter stroll could ne two hours but in the summer a much shorter walk in the coolers part of the day is recommended. The view is beautiful with many spots for photo's. Benches to sit on. Some access to water. Play areas for children.

In the day time some time in the hot and sunny day will be too hot to be here but when the temperature more low this is wonderful place to enjoy Persian gulf. for me the best is in the night, the city scape of Doha is just impressing. the ambiance is so calm here if there is a caffe or some out door restaurant maybe will be great because without is really just empty silent beach with some karaoke ship with colorful light on the evening a long the edge.

Really enjoy going down to the corniche at the weekend when there are not as many cars. You have the sea, fantastic skyline and if you desire machines to do a workout.

Getting a bit humid to walk its length but still a lovely place to forget you are in Doha.
