“Save your money for anything else than Ferrari World!!!”

Absolutely disgraceful!!! We came all the way from the UK to visit the fastest coaster and only when we got there we discovered that the two main attractions where closed due to failure. Formula Rossa was awaiting spares 'from Spain' and G-Force (Should be Farce), was only open on the opening day and shut down ever since. We asked for information at the VIP centre and observed that 6 journalists from a Dubai Publication got fobbed off with free 'Press Tickets' so to keep them quiet and then got told that all rides are prototypes and that it is normal for them to be closed for 'improvements'. Perhaps the first improvement should be to get them working!! Dah!!
As we travelled so much to get there we bought the tickets. We received a pathetic discount of 30 AED (an espresso costs 35AED in the park!!).
The concept itself is great and once someone that actually cares about Ferrari will be in charge I am sure it will be worth going but until then I suggest to go to the beach instead and save the tickets money for ice cream and a slap up meal!!!

The attractions that where opened where OK, nothing to run home about, mostly kiddies rides.
I might be a purist here but in the 'History of Ferrari' ride there was no mentioning of Enzo Ferrari relationship with Alfa Romeo cars, this was the essence of Ferrari, obviously the park is aimed at bleeding every visitor dry rather than giving a proper Ferrari tour. I am actually angry about it as many visitors are being given incomplete information about Ferrari.
As far as the souvenir shops they are extremely overpriced and it would cost you less to go to Maranello and buy souvenirs at the real place. Absolutely disgraceful!!!

“Don't bother - Nice building, shame about whats inside”

Got lost on way there following direction on website. Says Yas East or West, when there are different. Then 'Yas Leisure Drive' seems to include every road on the island!

Best thing about the place was the ease of parking - a rariety in the UAE. From there is was downhill. Long queues, expensive and limited food. An embarassment to the Ferrari Brand.

“What a disappointment - total waste of time and money”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 January 2011

Visited on Jan 4th. It's a 1 hr drive from Dubai and costs around US$60 per person to get in. The two main attractions (high speed roller coaster and G-Force) weren't operational, so if you are into high adrenalin there isn't much else to do if these aren't working. We went on the V-12 and Made in Maranello rides and the video and audio on both rides wasn't working properly (only sections of the ride were working). The wind tunnels in the play area were also faulty. We did the Fiorano GT Challenge roller Coaster which BTW was awesome. We left after 2 hours really disappointed. I filled in the survey at one of the kiosks and also immediately emailed Customer Services at Ferrari World expressing my disappointment and to date have not heard a word. Clearly customer satisfaction not high on their agenda.

“The cool rides were closed!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 January 2011

I can't rate the theme park itself since we actually ended up NOT going in. First mistake was to go here on a Monday - when it was closed. On the second attempt on a Tuesday, we came here around 3 pm and were hoping for an amusing evening at the theme park. Once in line we soon discovered that the 2 coolest rides; Formula Rossa and G-force were closed! So, we browsed quickly through the souvenir shop and went home.

“A waste of time”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 January 2011

I agree with the other reviews, we got to the park before the 12 oclock opening to see very slow lines to buy tickets, once I got to the window I found out why, the people had to explain how many rides were closed that day, basically all the main ones, but as we had travelled to get there we went in. The people at the differant attractions were so unorganised it took twice as long to make anything start, compared to anywhere else in the world and there were not many people here at 12 noon. Crowds started to arrive about 1pm so the lines were very slow and this was on a work day, so I would hate to visit on a weekend or public holiday. My only advice if you go, is to get there to go in at noon, go on what ever rides you want (that are working which will not be many) and leave, this is not a place you can spend a day at unless it is waiting in long lines.
