Again, a timeless and impressive service at St. Regis, Saadiyat Island…

As we enter the hotel lobby, we were greeted “welcome back” by the doorman Duvindra / Dumindra (I am not quite certain) as we stayed a year back and remembering that we are returning guests, is truly an outstanding experience! He is superstar! Job well done!

Lunch at Sontaya:
Christine our server was an asset of this fine dining restaurant! She is warmth and very engaging. Well-detailed and very knowledgeable of the offers. Her recommendations such as Pecking Duck, Vegetable Rolls and Ice Tea Lemongrass from Thailand were something to behold! I also spot Koko as one of the most enthusiastic attendant!

Ghao Le and Elwin, both mangers were delighted to assist us in many ways. The surprise cocktail and personalized desert was desirable and astonishing! We couldn’t ask for more…

Aternoon at Drawing Room:
This compliment goes to Amit, the lobby attendant who was so polite, friendly, helpful and outstanding! Through out the experience, he was brilliant! And selections were heartful.

Overall, food was cheerful and divine! Service was second to none! The dining experience was undeniably unforgettable and would be very happy to be back. Both outlets were pure indulgence! A massive applause to the management!!

I attended a Conference held here in early June and stayed 2 nights. - I am a frequent traveler staying on average 3 or 4 nights in a hotel every week.
Every now and then I am fortunate enough to stay somewhere very Classy and this was certainly the case.
Outstanding hotel I can recommend it for business romance or pleasure or all three!
Huge rooms most overlook the lovely beech all very well appointed, you will be delighted by your stay.
This is simply one of the Best Hotels in the Gulf.

The St. Regis in Saadiyat island, Abu Dhabi is without doubt, one of the most relaxing and luxurious hotels available in the Middle East. Having stayed at many of the 5 and the only 7 Star rated hotel in the world! - this gem surpasses them all and deserves all the rave revues and credits that you will find here, it also should be rated at 7 stars as it abounds with luxury and sophistication everywhere you look. And also take note - the staff are all amazingly friendly and very helpful, the food is just incredible and we were not dissapointed with anything during our 2 nights stay, in fact we were so impressed we stayed on for another night and would have continued our stay, if business had not beckoned! All in all, we were both extremely surprised at how they have managed to build such a monumental hotel with exquisite finishing and combine all of that with a service that would put many hotels to shame - well done The St. Regis and we will be back to enjoy your hospitality very soon.

Room Tip: If you can get a room with a Sea View - you will not be dissapointed, either way all rooms are extre...

It was a great and relaxing escape from the stress of city life , a very classy hotel and a superb breakfast spread with a great variety indeed, although everything was above the range in terms of value of money.
Certain disappointing points were that our room had broken handles of the cupboard which should have not been overlooked by the housekeeping management which in turn needed to upgrade their standard of service.
There was a long Que for check in and check out which either means they lack staff in the front desk or they need to be trained to be faster and more efficient in their job, mentioning efficiency there certainly need to be trained, because upon check out while I was double checking my bill I realized that I was charged for a fancy dinner in the Thai restaurant on a date which I HAD NOT been there! also was charged extra for ordering an expensive bottle of wine which to my astonishment I had to tell her that I am a staunch Muslim and do NOT drink! and to my surprise she just took the bill and did not even try to find out why such an error took place and immediately waved off the additional charge which was unnecessary added to my bill!
Is this a standard of an exquisite hotel as they claim? and is this quality of service they should offer for their valuable guests?

Room Tip: Please double checkyour bills upon checking out so that you avoid any additional charges to your bil...

We stayed at this resort last week for our honeymoon and both agree it is the nicest resort and best service we have ever experienced. And I should add that we ONLY stay at 5 star/5 diamond hotels. In the last month alone we've stayed at various Four Seasons, Luxury Collection and Ritz Carlton properties among others, but this place really blew them all out of the water.

Service was impeccable. Who are these people complaining below? - they have issues! This place is literally as good as it gets when it comes to 5 star service. Our personal butler remembered the smallest details like which candy I liked best and left extra on the bed in the evenings. He remembered that I'd asked for a band aid and came by the next couple days to make sure I didn't need more or anything else.

The restaurant staff at Sontaya remembered every detail of our order when we went back a second night and our names. They were perfectly attentive but not overly so. Really, really fantastic food and service there.

The resort itself is beautiful, the outdoor staff are very attentive and the facilities are truly exquisite. A perfect destination for a honeymoon!

I should note that it is certainly not cheap to stay here and the food will be expensive, but worth every penny! They do have free wireless AND free converters you can use to plug in your electronic equipment. That was especially nice as we had forgotten to pick one up and they are costly.

Room Tip: We did not pay for a beach view room, but nearly all of the rooms get one anyway. We were on a side...

Having stayed at the One & Only Royal Mirage last year and after reading some of the reviews we were a little apprehensive about the St. Regis. We stayed from 26th May for 6 nights. Booking through Virgin we stayed on a half board basis which was great especially with three children. The rooms were excellent. We requested inter-connecting rooms and the hotel met our request with two beautiful rooms on the seventh floor right in the middle of the hotel with amazing sea views. We arrived at 7 am in the morning, check in was fine and although we had been told that our rooms wouldn't be ready tip 2pm, we actually had the keys by 9.30am. The only slight issue was that we weren't eligible for breakfast that morning and with a price tag of around £40.00 each we felt that a £200 breakfast on day one was a little steep! The Olea buffet was very nice and staff were excellent. We had a lovely meal in Turquoise again this was expensive but we had a great evening. (just to note you can only use your half board allowance in Olea). We had afternoon tea in The Drawing Room which again is a real treat. The pool staff were excellent and came with water, fruit kebabs and juices throughout the day. We always managed to get 5 sun loungers together in the shade even when we arrived at the pool midday (ish). The beach is amazing, the water is like a warm bath! If you want to try a luxury hotel with excellent facilities and service then the St. Regis will meet all your expectations and more. It is equally as good as the One & Only. So if you have tried Dubai and want to enjoy a more peaceful location with the same high quality , give it a go.

Room Tip: Higher floors have a fantastic sea view.

My husband and I enjoyed a weekend here to celebrate my birthday! The hotel is beautiful and the staff were great. We had brunch at the hotel on Friday, it was nice and relaxed, with a huge selection of food, and our chanpagne glasses were kept full all afternoon. We booked a sea view room and this was upgraded to a suite when we checked in. The room was a great size and had everything you could possibly need. There was an impressive range of toilettries to be found in the room as well.
There is plenty of choice in the evenings for dining and drinks, and there are separate pools during the day for families and adults. The beach is probably the nicest I have seen in the UAE.
All in all we had an amazing stay here and I cant wait to visit again. I highly reccomend that you give it a try.
