I went there few times for dining and business meetings
Lat time was today for business meeting, was the first time to be there in the day light
Although the Terrace of the restaurant having only 4 tables, I did not resist the passion to have my Lunch with colleagues there, i stood for a while till a table became free, and along with colleagues we had a real wonderful lunch

Hint: if you are going to stay in the hotel for tourist purpose, I advise you to go just few meters outside the hotel to the south side, there is a good spot where you can also have a kayaking in the Mangroves, its a real good experience do not miss it

If you just want a relaxing overnight stay in Abu Dhabi and a lovely Friday brunch then this is the place to stay. The mangrove view rooms are lovely with opportunities to see all sorts of bird life but the star of the weekend was undoubtedly the best brunch that we have ever had. Champagne, the best oysters, lovely seafood and almost anything you can think of , all of the highest quality with service to match, a real treat.

Room Tip: Worth paying a few AED extra for a room by the mangroves, check out the hotels own website for their...

We had a great stay in the hotel. The receptionist on arrival was very nice and made us sit down with some nice date juice to sample while waiting that all formalities are completed.
The room was nice, clean and spacious, equipped with all one needs to feel comfortable. It was such a pleasure to sit on the terrace and watch the sunset. So quiet and peaceful. It feels more like a resort then a business hotel in the city, while being actually in the city.
The Spa is fantastic; you really can unwind with the best of treatments. The staff is really professional and friendly.
The Thai Restaurant is just outstanding. It was a perfect blend of spices and all the dishes were just prepared to perfection. The service was impeccable.
Breakfast on the terrace with a view to the Mangroves- what can be better….We loved the food choices and even sampled some of the Asian Breakfast items served. Simply Delicious.

Room Tip: Do not miss the Thai Restaurant. It is recommended to make a reservation in advance.

There is a squillion gorgeous hotels in Abu Dhabi and this is one of them. I weighed up going to a hotel without a beach but in the end took a punt and was glad I did. The mangroves are so restful. There was slight confusion over our bedding requirements and the management were extremely helpful, upgrading our rooms and offering a free breakfast. The dinner buffet was spectacular and I've been to many in Abu Dhabi over the years. The bar is stunning...all in all a fabulous experience. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: The rooms with the view are the only way to go

The Eastern Mangroves Hotel about 15 minutes from the Central Business District of Abu Dhabi is a luxurious base for business in the UAE capital as well as offering the chance to explore the mangroves opposite or relax in a sumptuous Anantara spa after a busy day.

This is Anantara’s first business hotel in the UAE but its two other Abu Dhabi hotels are already very popular: the palace of the desert, the Qasr Al Sarab and the Desert Islands Resort on the nature reserve of Bani Yas Island. If you want to combine business with pleasure then it is easy enough to stay in the same chain to maintain the same very high standards of hospitality.

Welcoming style

Indeed Anantara has become something of the face of Abu Dhabi’s new tourism industry. The Eastern Mangroves is an excellent addition. It has some beautiful Arabian-themed interior spaces including a large lobby with a wide selection of dates and coffee to greet guests in traditional style.

For business users there are extensive meeting room facilities and a full-size ballroom suitable for conferences. It’s a great corporate hotel with a generous terrace overlooking the mangroves that is popular for major events. There is an open air swimming pool but not beach.

Downstairs there are two restaurants. First, the Ingredients all-day dining restaurant whose amazing champagne Friday brunch should not be missed with its blend of Arabic, European, Japanese and Chinese cuisine. Even in the decadent modern UAE few brunches serve up a whole bloc of foie gras on the table or have chefs from quite as many countries.

For fine dining the Thai restaurant, Pachaylen also looked superb. And for a view from the top of the hotel there is a snazzy cocktail lounge with a roof top terrace. This is an elegant place with perfectly made cocktails and the style of a serious nightclub although this is one thing it is not.

Minimalist chic

The hotel’s 222 rooms and suites are all minimalist chic with stunning marble bathrooms in the latest fashion, flat-screen TVs, free WiFi, coffee machine, fruit basket and a terrace with a view over the mangroves. We hired a kayyak and spent a couple of hours touring the mangroves, a fairly demanding activity and only for the physically fit. You might like to train in the hotel’s huge gym first.

Finally nobody who stays at this hotel should miss the Anantara spa, the signature strength of this hotel chain that originally hails from Thailand. It is also a very fine piece of interior design. The treatment rooms feature natural light coming through a shower enclosure, for example, and the rooms for the traditional Turkish hamman treatments are quite exquisite.

The staff throughout the hotel are multilingual and very helpful. We thought this hotel a great new option for anybody visiting Abu Dhabi on business being about half-way between the airport and city centre and providing every possible business amenity, plus the opportunity to unwind.

Room Tip: Rooms to the rear have the mangrove view.

My partner and I stayed during our recent stay in U.A.E. at the Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa by Anantara in Abu Dhabi. We just can say it was amazing! All facilities were great: The rooms are very spacious and the design of the hotel is stunning. A beautiful mix of Arabic touches and modern shapes, colors and materials. Also the food that the Eastern Mangroves offers, is superb. At the Pachaylen they provide very authentic and tasty Thai food. We enjoyed especially the seafood! Our favorite thou was the grand brunch-buffet! What a fantastic and delicious selection of excellent food. One of the best we ever had - "chapeau"! But no hotel is good without its staff. At this point we want to thank again the German reception manager, who was very helpful and extended with his professional approach a very welcoming atmosphere at the reception. He and his staff brought our beautiful stay to a completely round figure. Thank you very much, we will come back - for sure!

Ive just returned from a weekend getaway to this fantastic hotel. I can honestly say that this was one of the nicest hotel stays I have had in a long time -here in the UAE. Fantastic front desk staff, excellent guest relations team members and the restaurant team are really attentive. the food in the hotel is some of the best presented and tastiest I have seen on a buffet ( breakfast and brunch). the A la Carte offerings are well thought out and interesting. This hotel is situated among the rest of the development that is not quite finished yet - but it does not detract from the experience at all, a lovely pool area ( maybe a little small for a Spa type hotel) , the spa area is well thought our-the Hamam was unfortunately not working during our stay but that didn't take anything away from the overall experience.
