This hotel was booked for me by someone else on a cheap deal through Last Minute.com. On arrival the booking had not been registered so there was a delay but the receptionist and other hotel staff made my comfortable, brought coffee and showed genuine concern. When the booking was finally confirmed I was given an upgrade to a larger room in in the new 7 storey tower and this was superbly equipped with all facilities, free wi-fi etc. The only meal I had in the hotel was a room service full English breakfast, obviously the bacon and the sausage involved no pork but the meal was delivered hot and was not expensive for this type of hotel. In the hotel grounds in Abu Dhabi's only Irish bar. Packed to the rafters on the two nights I visited, an excellent covers band and a floor-filling DJ. If you want night-life this is probably the best in town. My main plus point about the hotel is the staff. Totally helpful and happy from the moment they open your car door and welcome you through to the time they close the door as you leave.
