I wish I had known about this place earlier, but am happy to have been introduced to it. My visitors will, too. You can reserve a family room for bigger groups, but you can also just pop in for lunch unannounced. It's quite an experience. You sit on the floor in a majlis-style area (cushions surrounding a floor area where the food will be placed). Your server becomes a guide rather than just a waiter or waitress. They have a perfect lemon-mint. (For those of you who haven't had lemon-mint, why not?! You may fall in love as I have.) They also have Morrocan tea. The food is fresh and healthy, but be sure to order salads, as it is not the same as in the Lebanese restaurants in Abu Dhabi - the meal does not automatically come with a massive side of veggies. The fatoush is perfect, the rice is tasty, and...I'm not a hugely adventurous meat eater, but...PLEASE...try the camel! It's surprisingly palatable! I would eat it over beef any day. Theirs is very tender and flavorful. Take friends, work colleagues, and family. This a sharing event! Even watching our waitress pick up the used items became entertaining.
