We stayed from the 4th to 12th July. This is the most sumptuous place we have ever stayed in, no words will describe its magnificence, you have to go. It is luxury beyond belief. You feel as if you have "made it" in life staying here. It is gargantuan and so very clean, you don't see a speck of dust. You rarely see the army of cleaners they must have, it is all cleaned very discreetly.

ROOMS: we had a Pearl Room on the East Wing looking out over the pool. It was amazing, huge bed, chaise longe, small table, full desk with two chairs, large stool across the bottom of the bed, bedside cabinets, large two drawer unit, unit with fridge in. The area leading to the bathroom has wardrobe space (which is lit) with more drawers and the safe. The bathroom is outstanding, large wet room type shower big enough for three (not that I tried that), toilet, bidet with shower hose, large basin plus a shelf to put your toiletries out (which is rare at home) and an enormous bath with a step up to it. Towels are all by Christy which are a fabulous make. Two bathrobes which actually fitted us, again rare. The rooms are cleaned twice a day, at night the bathmat , two mats by the side of the bed are dressed with rose petals and your E.P. slippers.

RESTAURANTS We went to SAYAD AND HAKKASAN both utterly amazing but so different. Sayad is lit very gently with blues, lots of glass around to make you feel as if in water, truly amazing place. The food was outstanding, the staff very knowledgable about their menu, everything looked like a piece of art when it arrived in front of you, and tasted sublime. Hakkasan is Chinese based and couldn't be more different in decoration, they have a large cocktail bar so you can have a drink before you dine, they then take you to your table where very cleverly they have arranged the tables so you don't feel overlooked by your neighbours. Food again top class. The food is expensive when you compare it to home but remember you are staying in one of the finest hotels in the world so go for it. We also went to the Rotana Hotel to Finz, Rodeo Grill and Brauhaus all fantastic food and service. If you want a massive and tasty meal go to the Brauhaus, beware of lamb knuckles you get two, enough for two but it is for one. There is a bar area near La Vendome in Emirates Palace where all the chairs and settees are, the alcohol is not displayed but it is there. Do try one of the Emirates special coffees with 24 carat gold leaf on the top, amazing sadly you can't taste it going down.

STAFF The butlers and guest relations people are fantastic, can't do enough for you but not in your face if you don't need them. A few to mention are NISHANTHA PRADEEP KUMARA, KASEM AL SALAH and MAMIDI SOLOMON (the butlers) CHANDAN WALLAGODA (butlers manager) PATRYCJA BOGUCKA and NATALIA JARAMILLO (guest relations) all so helpful and allways a smile on their faces.

JOURNEYS we used metered taxis with a sign above the car as these are very cheap about £3 for a 20/25 minute journey which at home would cost £20. You do have to go down to the front of the hotel to get these unless you are lucky enough one is dropping off. The hotel does have luxury cars for taxis but they are more expensive. If you like places like Trafford Centre and Blue Water then visit the Marina Mall.

This time of year is VERY HOT about 45 degrees everyday and quite humid, a high factor sun lotion is recommended. There are plenty of beds around the pools as it is low season here due to the essesive heat. The East Wing Pool is mainly for the adults which is great if you have done your bit with the children. However they have catered for the children with the West Pool which has slides and a lazy river etc. The pools are spotless, every morning I would watch a gentleman testing the water for any contamination. The beach is megga hot but stunning, the water is like stepping into your bath and cystal clear, the beach is white sand. Again I can't say how clean everything is.

Would I recommend this hotel, YOU BET I WOULD, and we are in negotiating for next July. GO AND STAY HERE IT IS TRULY AMAZING.

My husband and I stayed at the Emirate's Palace for 2 nights while visiting his brother and family and felt like little kids allowed to play in the nice sitting room. The hotel was absurdly opulent and walking the grounds for the day was a fantastic adventure, passing rows of camels, beautiful beaches, pools with slides and in-water bars, cabanas and gilded ornamentation everywhere. The water was beautiful and clean and the beaches were exquisite. The rooms themselves were large and well-appointed with very comfortable beds, balconies, and baths as large as some hotel rooms we have stayed in. We had no issue with the service, were offered beverages and snacks upon arrival and checked in efficiently. We did not use the butler service, but it was offered. The service was quietly attentive, which is my preference. If we needed someone, they were immediately available, but not hovering obnoxiously about. Over all, we would likely not stay again because it was quite pricey, but we did enjoy the stay.

We stayed at the Emirates Palace in June, the second time in six years and this visit was better than the first. The staff at the moment are the best that anyone could wish for and we were spoiled from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, they are all so hard working and the only thing they want is to please you. We can't wait to return, hopefully in November for the Grand Prix. If you can choose your butler ask for Houssine El Quaroui, he is the most extraordinary man!! He even came in on his day off to show us around!! Kishor and Kumar were brilliant as well. We had our wedding anniversary there and the fuss they made of us was beyond anything we could have imagined. Thanks everyone!!

Room Tip: Arrive well dressed with a good attitude and wear a smile!

We have been here twice and will be returning this October. The hotel is vast and has two ends each of which has it's own pool. One end has water slides, a lazy river etc so is probably more for children but we also loved this part. The beach is beautiful and clean and the grounds are kept immaculately. The restaurants for lunch are very good as are Sayed and Hakassan. Highly recommended!

we stayed at the emirates palace for 8 nights .I have to say this hotel is out of this world.I was a little concerned after reading some negativge reviews on trip advisor.I must say we found it nothing short of fantastic. We have travelled to a lot of places around the world and this hotel along with the one and only royal mirage in dubai are the best hotels we have stayed in.The staff were fantastic it was our 27th wedding anniversary when we were there. The butlers came with roses and a bottle of champagne. We ate in le vendome buffet restaraunt on half board, the food was amazing, Raffaque looked after us every night in the restaraunt.Runiela in guest relations was lovely. The hotel is huge ,there were golf buggies to take you from the east wing to the west wing. The water sports were great and free, also camels to ride on the beach. My 12 year old son had a ball. All i can say if you are looking at going to this hotel you must go,we cant wait to go back!!.

I was in Nepal last May with my wife and I stayed 15 nights in Kathmandu to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and this Travel Agent could not have done more to make us feel special and went out of their way to provide us the extra mile. It’s really like a one stop shop, where provide all kind of services. Such as Hotel, rent a car, trekking and tour package and tour guide and porters.
Normally, we didn’t go out of the valley however they booked us the very nice hotel with comparative rates. Also they booked us Car which was in very good condition and the driver was amazing all the time. The best part was the travel Agent and they really surprise us. I just told the Gentleman name with Buddhi that we were there to celebrate our first wedding anniversary during the first conversation which he noted and communicate with hotel and organize many things was really exemplary.

My wife received complementary flowers on check-in and a cake was waiting for us in our room. The room (an Executive, facing the beautiful garden and White Mountain) was beautiful, spotless, well appointed and the bathroom was a joy to use. I was really impressed with this travelled Agent (Blue Mountain Travel Company). Staffs are very professional and details. Even we stayed in the hotel, every single day we received the follow up calls from the travel agent which was unforgettable. And the rate they offered us was so reasonable. I (Ram) highly recommended the “Blue Mountain Travel Company” to all those who are planning to visit Nepal and looking for a good hotel and car rental.

I have been lucky enough to using a lot of nice travel agent to organize this kind of booking for business over the years but this experience was the best as anything I've ever seen.
