“I dont want to leave”
Reviewed 21 September 2012

We are currently staying here at the palace and the worst part of it all is we have to leave tomorrow.Everything is so romantic and palatial, we dont have this kinda hotels or atmospheres back in the states. The staff are so polite and friendly, the food is awesome although expensive, i paid 50 bucks for a burger!!!! Rooms are spacious and clean, the front desk and bellhops too are very attentive and friendly.

We asked for a late check out and were given till 3pm free of charge.

So elegant, very spectacular, extremely posh. We were expecting very high standards and we sure got them. We were upgraded to a diamond room which was ready early morning, this was great for us as we had arrived from UK. In the 3 days we ate at Hakkasan restaurant which lived up to its reputation. We also had a very lovely meal in the Italian restaurant Le vendome. These meals were worth it compared to the very expensive breakfasts.
Our butler Dipak was very helpful, charming and was always around when needed. We were very spoilt and enjoyed the whole experience.
The hotel is beautiful with relaxing pools and helpful staff catering to your every whim.
The only thing we can say is that I missed not having tea making facilities in room.
It's well worth a visit & so glad that we chose this hotel.

Room Tip: All rooms looked good

We have just returned from 6 night half board stay. The hotel is without doubt stunning, the pool area on the east wing is the best we have ever experienced and the room and service fantastic, particularly our butler. However, there were some disappointments. We stayed half board and the only option initially was to eat in the buffet restaurant. For supposedly the best hotel in Abu Dhabi we expected the buffet to be amazing but it wasn't. The food was cold and there were no live cooking stations, unlike Sofa BLD restaurant at the Shangri La Abu Dhabi whch we tayed in last year, which was incredible and much much better than Emirates Palace. After complaining, we were told we could have 125d per person to eat at other selected restaurants in the hotel. This offer equates to approx. £20 per person which wouldn't even dent the bill at any of the emirates palace restaurants, so the offer wasn't worth having and we stuck to the buffet. There is very little else to do in the hotel after dinner and a lack of bars (unless you like a cigar) and little in the way of entertainment, which is fine if you are looking for a very quiet stay. The door staff are not as good as the other hotels and it is virtually impossible to get a taxi at the hotel. To go anywhere you need to order a hotel car which is at least 4 times as expensive as a taxi. On the plus side, the swim up bar in the pool does amazing cocktails and relaxing by this pool is like paradise and the hotel really is the ultimate in luxury. Spa highly recommended. Everything is incredibly expensive but that is expected in a hotel of this standard. We would stay again, but only on a B&B basis so that we can go elsewhere in the evenings.

Room Tip: East wing for couples, west wing for families.

In my opinoin this is the Best Hotel I have ever stayed in, We have been to 5 star woldwide and this to me is by far the best for Service. We stayed in a Pearl Room, very comftable , The houskeeping staff work very hard, The room is spotless with fresh fruit put in daily, and you have 6 cans in the fridge soft drinks ( free, the others you will be charged ) which is replenished daily, so you can take with you to the pool and save some money , the pool staff will get you buckets of ice when needed, and are so very helpfull, not forgetting water also which is replaced every day.
The Butler Service is exellent they go out of their way to make sure you are having and good time and always on call for any problems or advice, thank you to Manoj, Anita, Kasem, to many to mention.
The vendome resturant is first class, buffet every night so if you are on half board this is the place you can eat you wont be disappointed, just be aware you only get HB is this resturant , you will have to pay in the others. hovever you will not be dissapointed, as is fist class, the staff are amazing.
All i can say I recomend this hotel , the place is truly a palace and you will be very spoilt by the wonderful staff, This was my 6th visit , and many of the staff rememberd our names ! thank you to Lamia guest relations who will go out of her way to make sure you are enjoing your stay.
I can not think of one bad thing to say, only what ever hotel we go to next it wont top this one.
Thank you to all the lovely staff you made our holiday truly THE BEST.
We will Be Back Soon

One more, of the many things to do before you die, must be to enjoy the spectacle of the Emirates Palace.  Seemingly built with a similar budget to the International Space station and around the size of Monaco, a few nights here is a true Disney experience.

The central lounge areas may not be intimate places to eat, feeling more a concourse in the British Museum than a restaurant, but the interior scale and opulence of finish just leave you wandering around wondering whether they hired the architects who built Karnak.

The central dome (housing the Royal Suites) is of cathedral proportions and opens in each direction to broad expanses of marble leading you to distant wings, themselves the size of Hollywood shopping malls.

Rooms are generous and very well appointed with large bathrooms and natty proximity keys that you waft by the door.   The bed linen is really very nice.

The staff are helpful and friendly yet respectful and serene. The concierge in morning dress was most helpful and willing to give of his time

The food seems of a generally good standard, but the architectural surroundings generate high levels of expectation which are perhaps difficult to meet.

Room Tip: For those who appreciate Lebanese food the Diwan L'Auberge delivers the most comprehensive Leban...

Stayed here fro 3 nights in June. Hotel was busy with german tourists but they really know how to take care and satisfy the most picky and difficult guests. Most of the guests looked like cheap german tourists you find in Mallorca but the hotel staff treated and handled everyone as royalty, including us.

Food,room and service all outstanding.

The hotel picture is stunning from the outside and truly unbelievable once you're in. Me & my husband stayed on weekend and we came by Taxi. They opened our cab door & assisted us all the way to Reception counter. I was impressed with the welcoming and fascinated with flower bouquet that was given to me by a nice lady at the Reception. After check in, we were guided to our room while the hostess explained all the things about the hotel. The room is just so lovely and we were given a very nice pool view (we booked Garden view). The butler then explained the facilities of the room. The check was done perfectly.
The hotel has 2 superb pools and huge beach. The staff are all friendly and approachable (mostly Asians). They have more than 5 restaurants and the buffet restaurant is so good. Wide varieties of international food items.
ALL in one....They have it all and worth it.

Room Tip: Swimming pool view rooms are the best
