This hotel is out of this world. The staff are so helpful , nothing is too much trouble.
The food is fabulous , we especially enjoyed the BBQ restaurant .
The pool areas were never crowded .
I want to go back very very soon

The good things about this hotel:
1) You'll never get bored in this place, there are so much things to do!
2) Very nice pool and beach area
3) Kid-friendly
4) Gym has ample machines and is open 24 hours
5) Thoughtful arrangements (cake and balloons in the room) on my son's birthday.

The things that aren't that good:
1) Very touristic, it feels like you are entering a museum as you walk through the hotel
2) Rooms are not that luxurious as I thought (I prefer the rooms at the St. Regis Saadiyat)
3) Again, my high expectation on food wasnt met, buffet restaurant doesnt have much variety to choose from and it has a dress code!
4) Our room requirements were not met despite of communicating this to the hotel upon reservation, I requested for connecting rooms (or at least rooms that are next/close to each but end up occupying rooms that are in both ends (well, at least they are on the same floor/wing!)

As summer arrives and temperatures rise in the UAE, the number of guests at this magnificent hotel diminishes, which means fantastic offers on prices, quiet pools and beach as well as a sense of an opulent retreat which may have been made just for you. Yes, it is grand and overwhelming, gold glitters everywhere and the marble decor is definitely over the top, which reminds one that this is not a mere hotel, but indeed a palace.

Expect attentive costumer service, a personal butler on call, staff which are pleasant without invading your privacy. The room we stayed in (coral -king size) was huge and as opulently decorated as the rest of the hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable, the mini-bar well stocked, luxuriously soft bathrobes and velvety slippers provided.

The hotel is HUGE, so it depends on which wing (east/west) you're staying, it may take you about 5 minutes to walk to the main dome and the restaurant where the most excellent breakfast is served. There is a golf car to take you from one pool to the other and a Bedouin tent with camels and Arabic coffee served by the beach.

I am not sure if I could stay in this hotel for a long period, as one is not used to such a grand range of commodities, however as a nice treat Emirates Palace made me feel like royalty!

Room Tip: The East wing is next to the kids pool, and the West next to the adults pool, so request a room based on your circumstances.

Emirates Palace is by far the most luxurious, opulent, lavish hotel I have ever laid my eyes on. It is mind blowingly massive. The hotel building itself stretches over 1km and then you have the grounds which we likened to a small city, with numerous pools and exceptional restaurants on site. You literally need a golf buggy to get from either side of the hotel. We only stayed for one night while transitting to Europe for our wedding and when the (outstanding) staff observed the rather large bridal dress bag we were carrying we were upgraded to a suite. The suite was amazing with separate dining area complete with a large silver bowl overflowing with fresh fruit, lounge room equipped with high end entertainment system, study with its own computer, master bedroom with huge bed and luxurious linen, a walk in robe, marble bathroom and of course a guest bathroom! The suite was appointed with the finest furniture and materials you'll ever see. There aren't enough words to truly describe how extraordinary this hotel actually is, you positively must see it for yourself as an at least 'once in a lifetime' experience.
