Slightly negative to start of with as our dietary requirements were not communicated properly.

This was addressed and rectified by Linda Steeger, who was very understanding.

What made our stay one to remember was the emirates palace staff. There are too many great staff to mention, but the following deserve a mention as they looked after us very well;

- Naresh (assisstant Food beverage manager) great all rounder and personable.
- Aftab (beach pool manager) excellent and had a great conversation with him. His staff are fantastic too.
- Ram Chandra - best cocktails at pool bar
- Satish/Mahfaz (rest. Managers le vendome)
- Claudio/Suresh (Mezzaluna rest manager and staff member) also the lovely lady from Malta.
- all staff at Lu'berge restaurant (my favourite food during my stay)
- Matthew (front office manager)
- daytime staff at conceirge
- child minders who kept our son happy and entertained when my wife and I visited Ferrari World.
- there are many more but the above were exceptional and the Kempinski Group should be proud of having such courteous staff.

Our room had a beach, sea, pool, gardens, and city view!

The camelchino is a must in the lounge! Made with fresh camel milk.

The ambience can be quiet, but its what we needed to finish our five nights of a ten night holiday.

Loved the place we have got friends to stay and family will be visiting in a few months.

Having a beautiful hotel helps, but the staff mentioned above have made our stay memorable.

For all you strict veggies like us out there this place can more than cater for you.

Mr & Mrs Guru...and our little boy Jayden.

Some reviewers seem to hold the fact that this is a high end hotel against it. It is a five star hotel (official rating at the entry) but more like seven star compared to many 5 stars elsewhere. The service and facilities are exactly as you would expect for such a high end hotel. From the minute we pulled up in our airport transfer to when we checked out four days later we were treated like we were the only guests in the place. There are simply staff everywhere, the ratio of staff to guests must be the highest in the trade. The rooms are outstanding, not to mention large and the fitout of the hotel is opulent and very palace like. The 80 acre grounds are manicured and the facilities (pools, private beach, water equipment, bikes, golf carts etc etc) are outstanding. There are 11 restaurants in the hotel, many of them written up as the best in Abu Dhabi. We lashed out for a bit of luxury at the end of a long trip and bought a package that included breakfast and dinner for about A$400 per night, which is less than any five star in Australia for just a room without meals. All food was excellent and varied. We could not have asked for more from this experience. The only slight downfall is that it is a bit remote from everything so you need to get a taxi or bus to other places. Taxis are so cheap this is not a huge issue.

I spent 2 nights with my spouse in early October 2013. We were benefitting from a super deal on hotel room rates. Emirates Palace may not be to everybody's taste, especially if you are into modern or cozy, high on charm places. It is well located on vast lush grounds (at least by this region's standards) and the beach club is pleasant and soothing despite the central location. On the downside, the restaurants are the main weak point of this hotel managed Kempinsky. Besides Hakkasan (managed independently) and the outdoors BBQ Al Qasr (not suitable during the hot season), the other restaurants (especially the all-day dining Vendome) would benefit from some revamping.

Overall, the hotel is highly recommendable - worth trying at least once, especially during the hot days of summer and you will feel that you enjoyed the luxuries of this unique hotel at an exceptional value.

We booked this hotel with summer escape promotions. My son 8 years old enjoyed also very much, because there are adventure pool with 2 slides. The sandy beach is very nice and clean. during your stay I felt like the sultanas:)

Room Tip: choose a room with sea view so you can enjoy the sunset from your balcony.

We stayed in the Palace for 2 nights at the end of May and enjoyed every second we were there. We've stayed in some of the best 5* hotels around the world and this has blown every single experience I have had in a hotel out of the water! It was my husbands 40th and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were treated like royalty. Even weeks before arriving communication with the team before our arrival was brilliant. We were fortunate enough to stay in a Presidential suite which was jaw dropping! It was so big we couldn't hear each other from one end of the room to the other. The corner balcony with 5 different ways to reach it in the room was lovely over looking the camels! We tried both pool areas - both were great. Food at the beach restaurant was good as was dinner in the Italian. I'd arranged a surprise boat ride from the hotels marina for my husband with Yellow Boat Tours. I would highly recommend to see the Corniche in a different light. And we saw dolphins! If you're wondering whether it's worth spending that extra money on staying in this hotel - I would highly recommend to - it is an experience which will stay with you forever.

Room Tip: I'm sure all rooms are great! Use the golf buggy to get from one wing to another.

This is without a doubt the most amazing place to stay. I surprised my fiancée and daughter to 3 nights here and it was incredible. The Palace is a real stand out like no other. The staff are exceptional. We were treated like Royalty by the entire staff from the very moment we arrived.

There is plenty to do here without having to venture out anywhere. Pool for adults, private beach, kids club with water park, kayaking, camel riding and more. There are so many restaurants and bars to choose from. You will lose yourself easily in this Palace.

It was very hard leaving this amazing place on our day of departure. We didn't want to leave. We will definitely be returning to the Emirates Palace on our next visit to Abu Dhabi...
