I have stayed in this hotel a few times and it is basic but generally OK. The plus is you get to share the resources (pool, gym, etc) of the Royal Meridien next door. The place is clean. Breakfast is basic but OK and there is a choice of restaurants. However note there appears to be a minor scam re bottled water. I noticed the complimentary water in my room already had the seal broken - so you don't know whether by accident or design and whether you are drinking clean or local tap water. Told the hotel management when I checked out but they were not particularly interested.

From the outside this hotel looks old and cheap, but inside is very good.. Its very clean like new. Smells amazing. They have complete facilities sharing with the Le Meredian hotel a big swimming pool, gym and health club, squas etc. friendly casual customer service. They have karaoke bar, a disco with live band, a music lounge with live singer, a restaurant with acoustic singer, an english pub, a thai restaurant, and a japanese restaurant.

Its a budget luxury hotel.

I just don't like the 600AED deposit policy, no toothbrush and tooth paste.

Said it before and may I say it again, this is a good quality smaller hotel located on the corniche, if a bit further back than it used to be, ideal for those of us who want a clean, friendly, quiet place to stay with a great staff and selection of restaurants and bars on site.

If you need 5 or 7 star service then there are plenty of other places in town with prices to match, but for very reasonable rates and great service it's the Al ain Palace for me.

Slightly disappointed that the Italian restaurant is no more, but there we are.

Enjoyed the visit, my thanks to the management and staff.

Room Tip: No issues, have stayed in many different rooms with not much difference.

I first stayed here in 1975, and it has not changed a great deal, the best drinking bar in the city, food very good in the same bar.
Very central, shopping etc very close within walking distance.
Easy car parking, free for residents.

Room Tip: Overlooking the pool seems to be the best choice.

A friend who lives in Abu Dhabi recommended this hotel and we were very pleased. It has a good location within walking distance of the corniche. Sharing a wonderful and very warm pool with the Meridien Hotel next door. The rooms were very comfortable and a newspaper delivered each morning. A light to request when to have the room cleaned or not to be disturbed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Short taxi ride to massive shopping malls. We also explored by foot all the other hotels nearby which were much more expensive.

Room Tip: The first night I was aware of the live music from the bar on the ground floor. Maybe request a quie...

I booked into Al Ain Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi because I already had a team member staying there. Boy! Was I surprised! The hotel is said to be 3 Star but I got 5 Star treatment. The rooms are excellent and the staff is great! The hotel has 8+ restaurants and the room service menu is great! Free Internet and breakfast included at about $100/- per night in th heart of Abu Dhabi is a fabulous price. I didn't have to take a taxi to visit my clients - just walked down the street! That in itself is a great saving, not just in taxi costs but in time!

For tourists too this is a great hotel to stay. It is right on the Abu Dhabi Corniche and walking distance from the major shopping areas of the city.

What really blew me away was the staff and their support. I stayed for 10 days and I was treated like royalty!

Very highly recommended!

Room Tip: This is not a high rise hotel, so ask for a Corniche room - again depending on whether you want a sm...

Asked to provide a valid ID (Not passport) from the online booking. On arrival was informed my UK license was not acceptable. Refused entry to a pre paid room when there was documented correspondence between myself and the day manager earlier during the afternoon; and when asked the manager whether it was acceptable to leave a 23 year old on the street, he replied "I do not have to deal with this, it is not my problem." Eventually I showed him an email of another English lady's passport and the unprofessional, lack of competence fool did not realise it was not me and I finally arrived at the dingy room after 3 hours in the reception.
