We enjoyed the museum within the village and would have loved to have brought home some copies of the photos in it. Very interesting to see how the whole place has developed since the 1960's.
I was really interested in the crafts and some were really fascinating, with some people working on their goods. I bought a glass cup for my collection and met the man who made it, which I always like to do if possible.
However, one of the areas was just tourist tat and spoiled it for me. I know that people have to make a living but it was just a shame that it made up a large part of the site.
I would recommend a visit, but try and make sure that you are on your way to somewhere else or on the way back as it is not worth a trip on its own.
