My girlfriend and I were starving while wandering around Punta del Este and stopped here for a quick lunch. The place looked fun and lighthearted; it is uniquely decorated. The lady serving us was nice and helped us even though we didn't speak Spanish. We ordered the shrimp and the plate of the day (a ravioli). The food was bland, similar to something you would find at a hospital cafeteria. The icing on the cake was they didn't take VISA despite all of the signs on the windows.
Maybe it has to do with us being here during the late fall/early winter (off season), but it is the worst experience we have had on our trip so far.
