Great beach that had very few people. The water is a little cold but still great sand and very spacious.

Punta del Este is one of the best destinations if you like the beach, socializing and night life. From the Faro de Punta del Este (Lighthouse) to the east you will find more than 30 miles of beaches with white sand and amazing waves (surfing is a must). To the south on the other side of the peninsula, you will find miles of calm water beaches facing the Isla Gorriti (where you will find the most amazing yachts in the afternoon ready to enjoy the sunset and a glass of champagne!). Expensive during high season (mid december till end of February

Playa Brava is where the monument "Las Manos" is located. So after visiting the monument, go and check this beach.

The water is quite cold (I visited on March) but there's a lot of space on the sand. However you have to bring your own equipment because there's no chair or beach umbrella for rent.
