Friendly staff, large rooms, hotu water. Rooms clean enough. Very cheap but keep valuables at reception and suitcase locked. All rooms on the fifth floor but there is a small lift. Within a small shopping mall

This is probably one of the better hotels in La Paz, which is probably a shame for this country. The breakfast here is not the best and also the hotel is the not very clean. Also the architecture is very strange and kinda creepy. Looks like they expected this hotel to be very grand but ran out of money and started to cut corners.

Location of the place was decent as there was an arts market near by and many restaurants that services tourist.

I slept here in my clothes and not very happy about the bathroom. The only plus is that the staff is very nice and helpful as much as possible.

Stayed here one night and it was one night too many. I saw the cleaning last just make up the beds, not change three sheets when I checked out. Horrified didn't cover it. I slept with my jacket around the pillow. There was a window in the bathroom that was just an opening to the pipes running through the building. I tried to close it but it kept opening. Go elsewhere!

As with some other reviewers, we stayed a this hotel on the last night of an Intrepid trip. Unlike some of the other reviewers, we were very satisfied with the hotel - this was the best, not the worst, of the hotels we were booked into on the trip. The location was central and convenient. The room was large, with a double and single bed. There was lots of hot water, you just had to wait two or three minutes for it to arrive! The second floor room was clean and quiet, the bed comfortable. The router for the free Wifi was in the hall outside the rooms, so the signal was good. Breakfast was about average. Service was very friendly, Bruno the night man in particular, who helped with arranging taxis to the airport. We had independently reserved by email a second night some months in advance and they had it on the books when we arrived, no mixups. All in all, an excellent value: if you want better than this, I think you had better be prepared to pay significantly more.

We stayed here as part of a guided tour. I would like to say it was cheap and cheerful. It was certainly cheap but not at all cheerful. The rooms were grubby and well worn. As were the bed sheets and clothes. I'm not sure when the pillows and blankets were last cleaned but they certainly smelled like it had been a long while. We had a staff member barge into our room without knocking to give us towels. Tip: lock your door! The location was great, right in the centre of La Paz. And the staff were friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Not the best hostal I've stayed in.
