Big hotel, with large rooms, very comfortable, windows not double glazed so quite a lot of noise from street. No tea making facilities or ironing board in room and no English tv programmes. The cafe serves very nice meals at reasonable prices. Brilliant location with free wi-fi.

We liked this hotel because everything worked and worked well. From check in to check out our stay ran like clockwork.
Our room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom excellent , plenty of room and everything-in Working order..
The hotel was centrally located near to shops and restaurants. It had handy ATM machines and pharmacy.
The food we had at the hotel was only room service and breakfast but these were fine.
Only reason I am not giving hotel Presidente five stars is that I could not adjust the heat in room and it was hotter than we would have liked. If we hadn't have been so tired by the time we discovered this we may have been able to have it sorted. Don't know.

Room Tip: We stayed on 13 th floor and it was great. Good view and quiet. Not sure what side , sorry

Arrived around 0200 from the airport and were able to quickly check in. Our room was on the 12th floor and had a great view of the city and the surrounding hills/mountains. The room was spacious; upon walking in there was a sitting area, then around the corner there were 2 beds and a television. The bathroom was large and although outdated was clean. From extensive traveling, I have seen dirty and new...I would take old and clean any day.

The beds were comfortable for a hotel, they appeared to be clean. The TV had channels in English so we were able to watch TV....

We ate at the restaurant located on the top floor, the quino soup was delicious as was the steak. The service was very attentive...

The location provided for easy walking to the main street, shops and food...

The hotel is situated in the old historic part of La Paz and very close to the Plaza San Francisco and the cathedral. The business district at Av. Camacho is in walking distance. The market area on the blocks behind San Francisco is impressive. The hotel is classic style, the room was clean, spacious with a nice view (13th floor). The restaurant on the 15 floor offers good meals and panoramic views. WiFi works, parking is possible.

Room Tip: Upper floors are quiet with nice view

The plus side of this hotel is its central location. The downside is the noise as although we were on the 12th floor the street noise was very loud. On arrival we were shown into a large, spacious room that unfortunately hadn't been cleaned, so we left the cleaners to sort it out. Without explanation, we then found ourselves moved to a much smaller room along the corridor, which was extremely irritating as this room was far inferior to the first room. The food was very good although it was somewhat horrendous trying to get a table & battle other residents at breakfast for food.
