“Not what it used to be”

This place has definitely changed. This restaurant used to be so much better before. Once they move to their new location it became a different restaurant. Definitely will not go there again.

“Very good but be carefull with the service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 May 2013

Went there twice at my last local visit

the first time was simply terrible since the employee forgot about our food and then it was to late because the kitchen was close !! ...

Well....I ended up going there again, for lunch, and this time the restaurant was quite nice and the service was very good (well we complained...)
the food was good, but not great. I had grilled fish which was fine. the starters indeed were very good as well as the desert (profiterolis)

In resume I have to say it is a nice option for Bogota, not the best food but worth a visit for sure. The outside seating is recommended. BUT AVOID late night meals !!!

“Typical Colombian food, but expensive”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 January 2013

We returned to one of the older Casa Viejas in the Usaquen area in the north of Bogota. Usaquen has a wonderful market on the weekend and is one of the more popular tourist areas in the city. Casa Vieja has gotten expensive in the last few years, and the service is so-so. But the food is fairly good and has a complete selection of the typical dishes of Colombia. It is very popular, so get their early for lunch on the weekends.

“great!”

The mini arepas were fantastic - I ate the sancocho (I know the ajiaco is famous) and was very pleased. Excellent food and service. On my repeat list for Bogota.
