What can I say this hotel is very impressive, I stayed here twice; the rooms are very nice and they offer a great level of customer service; their concierge lounge is very well equipped and has many things to choose from (Even 2 free alcoholic drinks per guest). The hotel has a shuttle service from the El Dorado Airport that was very convenient and the staff really goes above and beyond to ensure you have a pleasant experience. I will honestly say this is the second best hotel in Bogota (I like the JW Marriott better) but both are excellent choices for Bogota.
The ajiaco at the restaurant is great!!! Is just as good as the one my grandmother makes!!!
I definetely recomend this hotel!!!

I've been travelling for business to Bogota for the past seven years (at least 10 times per year) and before the Marriott opened a few years ago, it was really a painful experience because of the lack of good lodging. That being said, the Marriott offers a wonderful experience to it's guests and since my first stay, I've never looked back. The staff is very friendly and really try to make you feel at home. The beds are top notch and the rooms are great and spacious. Seriously, if your wondering at what hotel to stay in next time you visit Bogota, look no further 'cause is Marriott all the way.

Room Tip: Try to avoid rooms close to the ice machine room. They could be a bit more noisy

The purpose of my trip was business related, the location is great and the service everything you would expect from a Marriott, personally I have a particular appreciation for the hotels' beds, a good night sleep for me is priceless which is why a big part of my decision of chosing a Marriott are the beds . Business wise it's very friendly for hectic travelers.

I used to travel to bogotà since 1998 and for years there was a lack in town for 5 stars hotel but finally a top class hotel is available in town!
Rooms are adequate, and sufficiently soundproof with comfortable bed and a choice for pillows.
What makes the difference compared to other hotels in Bogotà are 2: Pimento restaurant and gym/sauna/pool center.
Pimento brunch/lunch is probably my favourite and it is recommandable to anybody, especially for lunch time where the "barra" for buffet is fantastic with high quality proposals and much better than other similar proposals (Radisson, Bogota plaza, Tequendama Crown Plaza, Sheraton and similar level hotels).
State-of-the-art fitness center is another gem, equipped with latest version of Technogym treadmills and weight-lifiting machines.
Steam bath, jacuzzi and pool complete htoel fitness center which is hard to find in other 5stars hotels (probably Radisson has a similar level or better for pool and steam bath but not for gym and older in any case).
I had the chance to experience a 60 minutes massage, which even if it was expensive compared to other countries (around 80 or 100 U$S, I am not sure) was very very professional and it was a real relaxing experience with the lady (sorry I forgot her name) which explained step by step in details what she was doing.
In the same block you cand find also Sheraton and recently also Holiday Inn but not comparable in my opinion.
Location is very convenient for business travellers as it 15 minutes from El Dorado international airport while for clubbing (Parque 93 and Zona Rosa) or monuments sightseeings there are better located hotels in downtown, as it takes no less than 20 minutes by taxi to reach both destinations (but probably much more during peak hours).

The location of this hotel is key in this crazy buzzin' city. Roooms are nice and most of the hotel is rennovated. I am a little concerned about the entrance and the lobby as the area seems to be in the middle of some rennovations that make taxis and other services that come pick up passengers to have to wait on a very small street to pick you up, this can get very messy, and it did for me and my team for the 4 days we stayed. Besides this, the hotel is great and the food is not bad. Hotel staff, as in most good hotels in Bogota, are some of the best and most dedicated in any hotel in Latin America.

Room Tip: The meeting room in the business center is key, definitely recommended.

I was in Bogota for an emergency visit to a local customer. We went from the Airport to the hotel (it's really close to it) inmediately, but our reservation had not been done yet. The hotel staff was absolutely polite and warm. They kept our luggage while we had something for lunch and when we come back to the counter, everything was right.
The room was perfect for business. Everything was extremely clean (as well as new). Internet access, quite, room space and distribution, even the cables / cords for plug your computer to the TV, everything worked great.
Breakfast at executive lounge was pretty good. But the hotel is in a perfect area for other kind of food. Just walk around the block and you'll find great places for international food as well as fast food.
They also offer free airport suttle every 15 minutes.
But actually, the best part of all, was the amazingly polite staff. I truly appreciate this kind of details.

I come to Bogota frequently for business. The hotel is close to the airport and about 30 minutes from business district. The service is excellent and staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large, with very comfortable beds. The food in the restaurant is excellent. The Excutive lounge offers breakfast and nightly appetizer with a couple of drinks. The staff at the lounge always remember me by name and are extremely friendly. I always look forward to staying at the Bogota Marriott!
