Make sure you look at the newer reviews for this place... as many of the reviewers noted, this is under new ownership by a Canadian woman named Sophie. Sophie was great, energetic and very helpful - and very particular about the cleanliness of the place.
The shared rooms near the street may get a little loud since it is a busy street out front, but our private ensuite on the second floor was the quietest place we stayed at in Colombia. Also, there are posted quiet hours (11 PM on Weekdays and Midnight on Weekends) which were religiously followed during our 3 nights there.
Beds were decent, pillows a little lacking, but for the price - no complaints!
Overall, fantastic hostel in perfect location for exploring the sights of Bogota.
