This hostel was very friendly and relaxed, it was a nice place to spend the evenings just lounging around - it was cool how all the common areas were open-air, although when it started raining that was not the best.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the location was great - it was easy to walk to different tour offices and all the museums, as well as lots of restaurants and cafés.

A few things were not 100% ideal - the bunk beds were *very* low, and I am not that tall, so someone taller would probably be really uncomfortable. Also the bathroom was a walk down and up a lot of stairs, which is a bit difficult in the middle of the night! They did have the nicest showers I've ever seen in a hostel, though!
Generally very clean and well-maintained though. Would recommend!

This is a very well run hostel, with friendly knowleadgeable staff on a great location in La Candelaria. We stayed in a private ensuite room, which was a bit small, especially the bathroom (knees to the wall when sitting on the toilet). But the bed was good, with a duvet thick enough to keep us warm on chilly nights, the room has a safe and a tv and there was a beautiful wallpainting. The water from the modern rainshower was hot and the room was cleaned daily. Also there were clean fluffy towels everyday.
There are nice communal areas, great for meeting people. The breakfast was the best we had during our four weeks in Colombia.Wifi did not always work in our room, but once outside it was very quick. There is a no noise after 11 pm policy and even though we slept close to the bar and near the billiard room, we slept like baby's and hardly heard any noise.
The hostel is located on a nice quiet street, with a lovely restaurant next door (try their delicious and cheap crepes and juices). Also there are a lot of restaurants in the neighbourhood. The centre is only a 10 minutes walk away.
The hostel offers a free tour by moto-taxi, which was big fun.
If we come back to Bogota, we will definitely stay here again.

Me and husband and three kids stayed in a room with 5 beds and it was excellent. Yes, we had to share bathroom but it was no problem at all. Lovely friendly staff and excellent breakfast at a very cheap price. Hot showers were great. The walls a bit thin but hey, for this good price and location you just put up with it.

Room Tip: Upstairs away from entrance

Great place, perfect location, amazing kitchen for a hostel. We stayed in a private room with bathroom. Really appreciated it it was great after a long way from Cuba.

However it was a little noisy as facing the garden where the breakfast was and people liked chatting till very late.

A little pricey for what it is but we did not mind that time as we needed a comfortable place.

We were here for 3 nights. Stayed in a double room (rm 8) unfortunately the roof isn't padded at all, and there's a dorm room above - you could hear every conversation they were having, and it sounded like they were going to fall through the roof. Creaking roof all night was no fun. I asked to swap rooms if it was possible, the gorgeous front desk girl called her manager and moved us into a private room with ensuite (rm 5, awesome room, and twice as costly) for no extra cost!! Really accommodating.

The hostel itself is a really cool space. Gives you room to stay to yourself if that's your thing, or alternatively you can meet a lot of different cool people. There's a pool table, table tennis, bean bags and a massive outdoor tv room.
Breakfast is awesome. Eggs, fruit, toast and coffee.
The location is pretty cool, within walking distance to all the good areas. We struggled to find a decent restaurant for dinner rand the area (that wasn't meat meat meat..) defeated, we went to the restaurant at the hostel. There are very limited options, a few sandwiches, and a few salads with fresh juices. We ordered the ceaser salad and fruit salad. WHOLY shivers!!! Probably the best meal I've had in Bogota. And cheap! Fruit salad was 5000 and salad was 9000. It was fresh, plentiful and surprisingly great.

Staff are super friendly. Speak perfect English. Such a great place to stay.

Room Tip: Room 5 has a fridge, tv with cable, private lovely bathroom, and it doesn't sound like anyone wi...

We stayed one of the private rooms for 4 nights. There are many restaurants, cafes and shops within walking distance. The room was small but had a great bathroom. The breakfast was great. It came with cafe, scrambled egg, toast, fruits, juice, cereals, etc. Our room had a great wifi connection. The staff were very helpful, and they offer different entertainment every night. I highly recommend this hostel.

We are older than most of the backpackers so we decided to stay in the private room and it worked out great for us. We had a newly remodeled private bathroom with lots of hot water. We had room number 1 and the internet was strong in that room. A friend of ours had a room a little further back and the internet wasn't as powerful.
The staff were very helpful. They gave us lots of suggestions for activities and provided directions many times.
The breakfast was also excellent. We had scrambled eggs every morning, natural juice, toast with fresh strawberry jam and terrific granola.
