“Awesome!”

Very little behind bullet proof glass here. This gallery is set in a beautiful building, the art is fantastic. It is free to enter and if you don't know much about Botero's work, this is a great place to get a good understanding. Highly recommend.

Worth spending a few hours enjoying this museum. The building itself is excellent, with a beautiful courtyard in the center.

“Great collection, free entrance!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 May 2014

Here you can find, together with Botero' paintings, some paintings of his own private collection. You can also find one painting by Picasso, one by Chagall, Giacometti, some sculptures by Calder. You have then Botero's works. Stunning! The visit takes about 1 hour and the museum is in a very nice colonial-style house, with a patio and a little fountain. Absolutely worth a visit !

“A must”

Free of charge! Unbelievable for what they have there. For the same thing anywhere else in the world you will pay a significant entrance fee and probably stand in line..

“A visit to the Botero Museum is a must”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 May 2014

Fabulous museum. And it was free. I wish there were more Botero pieces on display but nonetheless there were plenty of Botero paintings and sculptures to admire.
