It is the closest hotel to the airport about 3 to 5 minutes by car. It has a huge room and a large bathroom. compare to others hotel.They have a 24 hout shuttle service every 15 minutes. Not sure if the room is sound proof.More
We chose to stay at this hotel because of its location near to the airport for our early flight. We were woken up at midnight by construction noises as staff were taking apart a massive event tent in the courtyard. After an hour of continual noise, we went downstairs to complain. One worker went to file the complaint and get the construction to stop, but the front desk worker just ignored us and seemed to care less. The only advantage to this hotel is its proximity to the airport - a place to SLEEP when you have an early or late flight. Doing construction work in the middle of the night is completely unacceptable by ANY standard, but especially considering the price of a night’s stay. I left the hotel with less sleep than I would have gotten from staying inside of the airport. I would recommend you take your money elsewhere and stay far away from the Habitel.

We stayed here 3 separate times in November to be close to the airport for early flights. I don’t have much to compare this place to, but I think there are basic courtesies that a hotel (especially a “5-star hotel”) should provide. We were woken up at 12am by clashing and banging of metal pipes that echoed throughout the courtyard. It was so loud and continued for 1.5 hours before we finally went downstairs. There was a group of men taking down a large tent from a hotel event earlier in the day. The men were banging on the tent to break it down and making ridiculously loud noise that was keeping the entire hotel awake. In what country (or planet) is it ok to have noise this loud at midnight?! Aside from the noise, the quality of the hotel is poor with dirty carpet, stains on the sheets/towels, and an overpriced restaurant that made us both stomach sick. I would strongly advise against staying here, as I can only hope there are better options for the price.

We stayed here on our last night in Colombia. I was very impressed by the quality of the staff and their friendliness. Our room was spacious and very well appointed. We experienced no noise either from other rooms or from planes taking off and landing.They have an excellent restaurant on site, unusual for many hotels near airports. The menu was interesting and the food well prepared. Our waiter was very pleasant. I strongly recommend it for brief stays

This hotel is about 5 minutes by taxi from El Dorado Airport. It is a rather confusing hotel because it has two blocks and two reception desks. We were dropped off at block 1 and they were happy to book us in, eventhough our room turned out to be in block 2. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful. We were able to arrange a shuttle to the airport for the morning. Our room was adequate and the bed was comfortable. The only problem was noise from a nearby room, which sounded like a party. Fortunately, it didn’t affect our sleep. In the morning, while checking out, the receptionist was happy to use the ‘phone for us to speak to someone that we were going to meet at the airport.

This is a very nice hotel, considering that it is so close to the airport. Nice, clean and comfortable rooms, good restaurants and many options for breakfast.
