Great old market building with open courtyard, serving good food with an italian twist. Visited by tourists and businesspeople only, so prices are on european level. And oh....dining outside means...bring repellent.

Nice open air location, reasonable food and a good selection of wines. Very good carpaccio and a reasonable tenderloin.

nice food & wine. A really interesting location. The staff are friendly and helpful to tourists and locals alike. However, only worth one or two visits as the menu is limited and many items taste the same!

Good food, nice staff. That big set of scales in the lounge area was used for weighing slaves which used to be sold by weight, so they told me (the restaurant is in the old slave house). . Lovely steak in pepper sauce, delightful waitress.

Certainly a nice atmosphere, no one can argue, and even the service was pretty good on a quiet evening but the quality of the food was lacking and frankly, too expensive for what you get. The calamari starter, while tasty was garnished largely with a salad. The bread basket was served with three tiny portions of the spreads- only 5 olives. The steak was cooked fine but not as good as other restaurants and the lamb was too fatty for my liking and served with what seemed like frozen vegetables. For a last ditch effort to save the meal, I tried the tiramisu and alas, was disappointed. Didn't seem homemade and just so-so. I would only return for drinks next time, to enjoy the atmosphere.
