I stayed at the hostel for two nights in total after leaving a grubby hotel up the road and couldn't have been happier. The hotel has English speaking staff, a great balcony area and the rooms are clean, though simple. I particularly liked the quality beds that the room have because the hotel I was in prior to this had the saggiest beds I've ever seen and I woke up with the sore back. No such problem at this place.

The hotel is located in a reasonably quiet street though there is still traffic (including noisy motorbikes) throughout the night so I'd recommend getting a room that doesn't directly face the road. It is about a 5 - 10 minute walk to the action at Zus and Zo hotel or in the city centre from this place.

The hotel also has large lockers that you can leave your possessions in securely after you check out or if you want to do an overnight trip to Brownsberg National Park

Room Tip: Not facing main road due to traffic during the night

Twenty Four is a nice (looking) hostel with friendly and helpful staff. they have a nice veranda were you can chill (or have breakfast) and a hammock. it really looks like a backpackers place and it got that vibe as well. The rooms are decent, nothing fancy. first I stayed in a room without airco and had to share the toilet and shower (which were clean enough) and the I switched to a room with airco and it's own bathroom. You need to reserve, because the place is quite busy. the location is perfect, close to the Cathedral, the city center, independence square and the "waterkant". they offer a very basic breakfast (not included in the price), wifi that barely works and there is no one there between 11pm-6 or 7 am except for an older care taker, so early mornings especially in the weekend you might be awaken by drunken guests that are trying to find their key and then later their way back to their rooms. they also offer laundry service which was perfect. all and all a very basic accommodation on a great location

Nice central location next to the historical area of Paramaribo. Reasonable price for the clean rooms, nothing fancy. Stayed in a room with AC which is a must given the heat and humidity of this town. Staff friendly and polite, wifi good. Nice porch area.

If you're on a budget, this is a great place to stay. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. The guesthouse does what it needs to, offer clean rooms and clean shared facilities for a perfect price. Breakfast is, considering the price, very nice and served comfortably at the balcony. Overall, nothing fancy, but just good!

I was expecting this place to be very nice, but, it was just OK, I mean, medium. I stayed one night but wanted to stay 1 week. Since the hotel was full the next days, I had to move (which was perfect as the other place was really great). The hotel staff was very very friedly and polite. The room was simple, fan and twin beds. Bathroom and shower are shared. The building itlsef is a nice wooden villa located on the edge of the city center, after the cathedral.

An great experience at a clean, affordable and beautiful guesthouse where guests from all over the world meet. My room was clean, nice bed, shower, AC; cant beat the price.

On the negative side the WifFI was down and no one seems to be in a hurry to fix it, and that continued for days.

A great place to stay. Great location; close to the shopping and the Waterfront areas.

Room Tip: All the rooms are awesome!! The cheapest guesthouse in the Region with Character also. Many Dutch an...
