“Floating and Relaxing in Nauru”
Reviewed 12 September 2013

Don't believe it when people tell you there is nothing to do in Nauru. I spent every Sunday afternoon under a palm at this lovely spot. At hightide you can float about and commune with the fish - and if you get thirsty there is a local takeaway sort of restaurant and a more up-market option right across the road. 20 metres further down the road is the marina - where you can swim in what you imagine is your personal Olympic-sized salt-water pool.

Stop by at the Anibare Boat Channel and when you get to the monument turn right. Up the slope is a picturesque view of the beach. Follow the road further to the Bay Restaurant for lunch or dinner with it's friendly wait staff and Indian/Western cuisine.
