This establishment has lost its way with customer service and food quality, which is a shame as it was once very nice. More parking would help also, so you can access the Lime Lounge

“Solomon Surprise”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 July 2013

This was my "No 1 escape from Honiara" retreat - cool, refreshing, good coffee (with soy milk!), clean toilet (with toilet paper) and comfortable chairs. The food was mostly very good. Lime Lounge does do delicious cakes and biscuits. I can vouch that the Lime Lounge's cook-book (for sale on site) works wonderfully to impress friends. There is also Internet access and a book exchange. A great place for a solo coffee, lunch with friends or a small business meeting.

“A cool, clean oasis of coffee heaven”

Here is a cool, clean oasis of coffee heaven in a hot and dirty city. Look for the big lime green signage outside, it's just around the corner from the ANZ handy teller.

“A slice of expat air-conditioned heaven”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 July 2013

If it is hot day on Honiara and you want to temporarily escape back to the first world, I recommend you try visiting the Lime Lounge.

Clean, modern and with great air-conditioning (always a plus!) with a nice menu selection. Good option for daytime eating. Extremely popular for lunch on the weekends - harder to get a table for larger groups. Good coffee and cake too! My favourite drink was the Banana Nutty-Ho smoothie. They even sell their own cookbook.

Expat prices but a welcome escape from the outside world!

An ok place to get a coffee, food very average. Parking is almost impossible around breakfast or lunch.
