This is an expat hang out that transports homesick Australians back to their favorite coffee lounge back home. Coffee is great as are the cakes and service. Very friendly staff but none-the-less my Solomon Island colleagues never felt comfortable here. Comparatively expensive.

“Food with a Solomons Flavour”
Reviewed 28 July 2013

The food was good! Imaginative- with a Solomons twist and very tasty. Coffee nice too.

Service was quite slow and although our table had a number the staff seemed to have trouble finding us.

Pleasant atmosphere, though very noisy when full and seemed to be hot unless we were sitting under a fan.

“Great Coffee but that's all !”
Reviewed 24 July 2013

Chicken sandwich should be renamed Chicken Surprise - came complete with breast bone cartilage (5 cms ling) and all sorts of unidentifiable bits. The chocolate slice tasted like it was cooked last year. Great handy location, but needs to pick up its game now that Breakwater Cafe is open.

“Lime longue Honiara”
Reviewed 23 July 2013

This establishment has lost its way with customer service and food quality, which is a shame as it was once very nice. More parking would help also, so you can access the Lime Lounge

“Solomon Surprise”
Reviewed 13 July 2013

This was my "No 1 escape from Honiara" retreat - cool, refreshing, good coffee (with soy milk!), clean toilet (with toilet paper) and comfortable chairs. The food was mostly very good. Lime Lounge does do delicious cakes and biscuits. I can vouch that the Lime Lounge's cook-book (for sale on site) works wonderfully to impress friends. There is also Internet access and a book exchange. A great place for a solo coffee, lunch with friends or a small business meeting.
