“Great for a snorkel and BBQ”
Reviewed 17 September 2012

The water is warm and amazing, full of beautiful fish and the dive wrecks. Sit on the sand and read a mag, have a BBQ under the trees which are right there on the water's edge. Toilets are a bit "rustic" but you get that, it's a wonderful place to be. Probably not so nice in the wet season, make sure the roads are not closed etc and know how to use a 4WD.

“Absolutely amazing, but make sure the weather is good!”
Reviewed 31 July 2012

The beach itself is quite average for a Solomon Islands beach, but the shipwreck is literally 10 metres off the shore and is very easy to swim to (and even climb on top of!). You must make sure you go on a clear non-windy day though, when the winds are high there are waves and you stand no chance of viewing any of the underwater sea life or the shipwreck.
