“Lovely place to visit when in Port Vila”
Reviewed 28 October 2013

We only had a very short stay due to tight air schedule but well worth a drive to the other side of the island and to see other parts of the island. If you are wanting to swim allow extra time.

“Tranquil and beautiful”
Reviewed 23 October 2013 via mobile

This swimming hole / lagoon has wow factor. From the first moment we caught sight of the water, it took our breath away. It appears just as it looks in the brochures. Stunning blue water, lovely and cool. Quite deep and you can see the bottom, it is that clear. There's a Tarzan swing that the kids and adults all enjoyed (slim and rotund alike). The ladder from the lagoon is a little slippery so be careful. On the day we went, there was heaps of pumice floating in the water, washed in from the volcano. It was great! I recommend reef shoes for the slippery rocks. There is an entrance fee, if you book a tour, it's usually included in the price.

“Incredible”
Reviewed 19 October 2013

Our taxi driver took us to this destination and it was so tranquil....until my husband decided to join in the fun and swing from the rope into the lagoon. All tranquillity was lost when he let go of the rope and yelled until he back flopped onto the water's surface. It was brilliant! Lots of fun. Beautiful and picturesque. Definitely worth taking a photo or two!

“Beautiful surprise”
Reviewed 8 October 2013

We had limited time and had to choose what we really wanted to see and we were recommended to visit the Blue Lagoon. We weren't disappointed, what an amazing surprise, I wasn't sure what to expect when we pulled up and saw a run down little picnic area but definitely give it a chance. Everywhere you go in Vanuatu there is usually a fee and yes you still need to pay an entry fee of $7 Australian dollars which is for the up keep and maitenance of the surrounding area. The water was crystal blue and was a beautiful temperature. I thoroughly enjoyed my quick stop at the lagoon and have added it to my places I want to spend more time at next visit. Well worth a visit.

“Secret tip”
Reviewed 28 September 2013

Another Vanuatu (port Vila) must do!
Excellent place to swim and relax, we haired a car for the day, but any way to get there is fine.
Go by yourself and take your time, the day trips will not give enough time here, and rush you along...
We bought cheap "swimming" rings, and let us float out to sea (well not all the way)
There is a second lagoon, and since we were the only ones with floaties, we had it to ourselves
We did bring our own lunch. (large supermarket next to the car hire place)
