“Nice food and well priced for what you get.”
Reviewed 1 June 2014

Part of Mangoes resort.
Happy hour from 5pm-6pm
Daily specials for cocktails and dinner.
We were staying up the road at the Terraces so we ate here rather regularly.
Lovely fresh food and well cooked mains. I did enjoy the island fish and chips and the red snapper.
Very pleasant staff.
Also a friendly cat named 'Spike' is a regular so give it a pat!

Would easily return again to Mangoes for dinner.

“Beautiful food from fresh local produce”
Reviewed 20 May 2014 via mobile

Mangoes was our home base for dining while staying at the Terraces next door. Food was excellent quality and reasonably priced. Particularly nice was the local fish and array of fruit cocktails (with a little alcohol thrown in).

“Very Comfortable”
Reviewed 21 April 2014

This is a well priced resort that we enjoyed very much. Good location with an easy walk down to the centre of town. Great staff and very friendly with good food in the restaurant. We only ate there once for dinner but hat brekky every day and it was fine. Plenty of buses and taxis passing the door if you don't want to walk. Good tour desk in the morning. The only negative is the bathrooms need upgrading. Tired and you feel like wearing thongs. Very comfortable bed and we had great sleeps. Worth a visit.

“Good Enough to Eat at Everyday”
Reviewed 19 April 2014

We stayed at the Terraces Boutique Apartments which is attached to Mangoes. Included in our tariff was breakfast. Now as travellers know breakfast can be very ho hum, but it was a delight to have the choice for breakfast. A fine muesli, excellent pancakes, fantastic eggs and great coffee. If you want more then you go to the rest of the menu.
With the breakfast experience very positive we had no hesitation is eating at Mangoes most nights. The menu is varied with gluten free and vegetarians catered for. The chicken and prawn spring rolls were fantastic, the prawns were served with a very tasty banana salsa. The mains were equally as tasty and inspired by local produce, the green curry ( a very mild one) was delicious. For most of the family dessert was great but for me it was the simple cheese platter and coffee that took the cake.
If you are staying in Port Vila and want a great meal in inviting friendly place then try Mangoes, catch a bus from wherever in town you won't regret it.

“Food at Mangoes”
Reviewed 16 April 2014

The coconut crab wasn't very good but we didn't have to pay. All other meals were lovely. The staff are excellent too :)
