Description: Our Guarantee is that "Everyone who leaves our establishment, does so with a new happy Coconut Palms memory".Since opening in 2005, Multi Award winning Coconut Palms Resort’s Head Chefs have been lucky to work with a variety of Chefs from around the world. Each have offered exciting contributions to our Menu utilising local wholesome ingredients. The result, is a wide array of culinary flavours and dish types from Vanuatu Steak, Fish & Lobster through to classical Italian gourmet. The Italian traditional selections include both pasta and pizza recipes that have been passed down for many generations. Also traditional, is our unique range of Vanuatu Tappa’s which is a world first for Vanuatu Dining. Already the subject of glossy international Magazine feature articles, the Menu glorifies traditional Melanesian recipes from around the island nation. All dishes use a base of Coconut milk and Navara, baby coconut. The dishes are purely traditional or completely new creations developed over a six month project that included outstanding local Vanuatu Chefs that concluded with the Tappa’s Blong Vanuatu launch on Jamie Oliver’s World Food Day.

We stayed at Angelfish Cove Villas which was just down the road and we wandered down and had lunch which was well priced and so relaxing sitting by the water with a nice cold beer. We also took our own lobster down for dinner one night and had it cooked up for around $18aud which gave you a large plate of chips and salad. This is also the place you can get a water taxi into town. Takes about 30mins and costs around $12AUD per person each way

Very good food, my wife had pasta carbonara, which she reckoned was better than her recipe and her recipe would take some beating

My family and I spent an evening in the lovely restaurant - a nice setting overlooking a stunning moonlit pool.

We all had very decent food and the fire twirlers were talented, and intense. If you're scared of fire (who isn't?) perhaps sit further back than we did as it got bit hot a few times.

Our service was great, food tasty and entertainment a bonus - a fun night all round.

My husband and I walked past the resort and saw that they advertised coffee so went in hoping for a decent one....sometimes hard to find. It was very good and after looking at the menu and also seeing the entertainment, we booked for six of us for that night.
The setting is very pleasant overlooking the pool which was illuminated with subtle lighting. The menu was not bad and I ordered a vegetarian pizza. Pizza was ordered by a couple of others and they said they were very good.
My vegetarian pizza was pretty light on even though it was advertised as grilled Mediterranean vegetables I just had red capsicum as the main vegetable. Oh well, it was tasty enough and we did have desserts. The pineapple fritters were not battered I think they may have been grilled but the "home made " apple pies were pretty good.
We were there for the entertainment and the Reggae group were great. At 8pm we all went outside for the Fire Dancers which was the main entertainment. They were excellent, very athletic, skilled and exciting.
Definitely would not be able to perform in Australia under the circumstances they did in Port Vila. They would break every OH&S rule but we weren't in Australia !
One bit of advice,if you are lucky enough to see them, don't sit in the front row. They came very close to us and my daughter and her husband had to move !
There was no charge for the entertainment and it was really good and they performed non stop for half an hour.
We enjoyed our night.

The service was excellent. Free Live entertainment, including a reggae band & an amazing fire show. Great value menu, delicious pizza & cocktails. Nice restaurant area overlooking the pool & garden.
If you are returning to your resort by bus, you will need to walk down to the end of the Rd by the roundabout, about 2 min walk.
