From the moment you are welcomed by Belinda and Andrew and shown to your little cottage you know you are in a very special place. Our cottage was beautiful, furnished with comfortable furniture, good for reading and had a lovely outdoor area. Sitting outside or lying in the hammock looking out on beautiful tropical vegetation, listening to the sounds of the birds singing and the geckos "clicking" (they keep the mozzies away) was just so relaxing. The gardens are stunning and along with the cottages and other visitor areas contain lots of island sculptures and art and craft work. There is even a great vege garden which provides veges and salad greens to the chef. You could easily self cater in the cottage but the chef provides fabulous meals (delicious seafood and the best organic beef we have tasted) so it's well worth dining at the restaurant during your stay.

There is a most spectacular traditional nakamal (meeting place) with soaring timber ceiling and thatched roof. This is where is all happens. There are comfy sofas and armchairs for relaxing and a great assortment of boardgames and chess (we got into backgammon which we hadn't played for years). You could dine there, organise tours etc with the very helpful staff, or just have a few cocktails at happy hour. There was also another stunning little dining area right by the water which was our favourite because you were literally inches away from crystal clear water.
The resort has its own sheltered beach and you can snorkel straight out from the jetty and see a great variety of tropical fish. You can also take a 20 min walk and find yourself at Honeymoon Beach owned by the local village and the snorkelling there was amazing too.

Our experience at Paradise Cove was memorable for its absolute beauty, the friendliness and helpfulness of its staff and the snorkelling right at our doorstep. We'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vanuatu. Thank you Belinda, Andrew and staff.

I think you are always a little anxious when you put a lot of time and money into organising a holiday hoping that you got it right; where you stay is one of the greatest decisions you make... how lucky we were to have booked at Paradise Cove Resort! Paradise Cove Resort was beyond our expectations in so many ways, the staff and management at the resort were very welcoming and you felt instantly relaxed upon arrival, (even after a big day to get to Vanuatu with a 6 and 4 year old). The setting at the resort is beautiful, shady, tropical, secluded but not an epic to get to. We loved the trip to town, (bumps and all) as you go through Pango village on the way to Port Vila you usually see the local kids playing at school. Snorkelling off the jetty, relaxing in the hammock or sitting in an amazing outdoor 'meeting place' playing chess all amounted to a fantastic week away. Benjamin helped with all our day trips/tours and they were spot on with what we were looking for. We picked Paradise Cove as it was small, but at the same time had everything that we needed, great food,(including ice blocks from Andrew one of the managers when our youngest had a tummy bug!!). We expected to check out some of the restaurants in town but ate every night at the resort, it was just too yummy and easy. This place is perfect for a small family like ours, and when we go back (no more than two years away!!!) we are returning to Paradise Cove Resort. Thanks everyone there, see you again! xoxo

We arrived at Paradise Cove and instantly felt connected to the beautiful people who manage and work there. The gardens are magnificent, beach simply beautiful and about 4 steps from where you eat breaky each morning! Stunning water and snorkelling (best you will find in Vanuatu in fact) without doubt the best holiday we have had, super romantic, in fact we got engaged on the jetty with a special candlelit table for 2! Unforgettable! Never had such lovely service, so many thanks to Gladys, Benjamin, Elty and Rebecca, not to mention Belinda and Andrew as Perfect hosts. This beautiful place is quiet, peaceful and the perfect unwind, the massage is also special! Food each day beautiful and well priced, villas gorgeous, best described as rustic chic. Make you way next door to Jojo's fashion boutique, fabulous fun, beautiful silk resort fashion. We would love to return one day! Kerry and Michael

We stayed here for 5 nights in May 2012 and enjoyed it very much. Friendly staff, welcoming managers and relaxing surroundings. Snorkelling off the jetty out the front. Beautiful gardens. Only comment for management is that the rooms do need a little work to brighten them up (well ours did anyway) and the bathrooms should be included in that. However saying that they were perfectly comfortable. The resort is a little way out from Port Vila but that appealed to me for the type of relaxing holiday I was looking for.

Food in the restaurant was amazing - full complements to the chefs and kitchen staff!

GREAT feedback!

Our chef is so chuffed by your positive remarks. We have worked really hard over the past year to bring the standards up and believe it's up there with the best food in Vanuatu; and so too do most guests and visitors.

We take on board your comments about the rooms, they are lovely and comfortable but a little upgrade is in order; this is something that has been tabled and the owners are acting on.

So like you; we can't wait!

Thanks again x

We got married in Vanuatu last year and decided to return for our first wedding anniversary because we love it so much. Paradise Cove is just beautiful and the staff are extremely welcoming and attentive. The food in the restaurant is some of the best we have had although you are paying Sydney prices.
The room was lovely, the only thing I would complain about is the shower, it was very tiny, but other than it was very comfortable.
It is a bit out of the way but that really adds to its charm, I saw lots of people complaining about the ride into town in their reviews but really it's not that bad. Yes it's bumpy but some of the roads at home aren't that great either.
All in all we loved our stay at Paradise Cove, the location is exquisite, it's peaceful and good for the soul.

Good for your soul.... we LOVE hearing that!
it's one remark that really sums this place up
One guest wrote us saying Paradise Cove is not a resort it's a RETREAT

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us a little feedback; you will be happy to know that plans are afoot to upgrade the bathrooms and I hear on the grapevine... the road as well!! We can hardly wait for that!!!

You are right in your comments though; the last section of road is bumpy but it really does make you realise 'where you are' and also appreciate what you have at home!

Thanks again; look forward to helping you celebrate another anniversary. LET US KNOW so we can organise to spoil you rotten x

We adored Paradise Cove! Small , personal, charming, spotless and very welcoming. 10 gorgeous fares (Villa) . The main Nakamal area is amazing!!! We had a 2 bedroom fare and it was great for 2 teenage sons. 28 staff, all smiling/ sincere in trying to do their best, all friendly locals who adore their Aussie Managers Belinda and Andrew who are charming international hospitality professionals, very well travelled, intelligent and engaging folk. They all made our trip a pleasure with special touches, advice and ideas. The snorkelling is really good. Clown fish within 20 metres of the pier. Crystal clear water and being a little out of town is good and we liked the bus trip in through the little villages. It takes about 15 minutes and is no big deal and is $3 a person. We had delightful food, felt it was well priced ( little bit cheaper than Aussie restaurants) .Happy hour with half price drinks and free yummy homemade taro and local vege chips. Can't say enough how much we loved it and we are not easy to please. Gorgeous floral arrangements and special touches like a special dinner on the pier with a birthday cake is no problem. I mean who has Happy Birthday sung by natives while watching moray eels play under the night lights? Yes, it's not a five star mass produced hotel, but we were so glad, it was so much better.
A short walk to honeymoon bay is worth the trip, The snorkelling was the best I have ever done and I have scuba dived all over the south pacific and Barrier Reef.
Get the ladies to do your washing. Even Mum never did it that well.
No mossies but there were 3 little geckos under the outdoor light that ate a few moths. I don't get anyone with a bad word about this place.
Love Vanuatu ...more than Fiji. I know why it has been voted the happiest place on earth. Feels so safe too.

Room Tip: They are all good!

The 8 days and nights that I spent with my family at Paradise Cove Resort was the most relaxing and beautiful holiday ever. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a place to soothe the soul. The bungalows are lovely, with really unique and interesting decor (and are cleaned every day by the beautiful cleaning ladies), and a small kitchen so you can cook your own food on the nights you don't want to buy dinner. The bar and dining area is also decorated with care and creativity, and is a great place to eat the yummy food and share happy hour cocktails, or play a lazy board game and listen to the chilled-out music. All of the staff there are the most friendly, welcoming and charming people, who truly make you feel at home and are happy to help with any requests and make your stay as smooth and relaxing as possible. They go beyond that though, and if you take the time to sit and chat, you will be rewarded with personal stories and jokes, and the opportunity to get to know the lovely people of Vanuatu (and the charismatic Australian managers).
You also have the opportunity to wander out of your bungalow and straight into the water, where you can see amazing tropical fish and swim for hours. It feels very safe (coming from an inexperienced snorkeler) and easy. We also went kayaking every night to watch the sunset.
It is not a busy place with a nightlife, so if you are after a fast-paced holiday it is not the place for you. Overall it was an incredible, relaxing, beautiful holiday. Thankyou!

Room Tip: Request a room with a kitchen if you want to save a little money on dinner some nights
