we stayed 10 nights at paradise cove in november 2013, this was our 2nd stay in this hotel and it was even better than the 1st time! we absolutely fall in love with this little resort! snorkelling is at its best right next to the private beach! the appartments/villas are spacious (huge) and decorated every day with fresh flowers! it's a small, intimate resort and absolutely not pretentious at all!
the food is delicious, fresh and made with local produces and organic beef! loved loved loved it and we will be back again and again :) once you have found paradise, you just don't want to leave it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paradise Cove on two separate weekends over the Xmas and new year period to bookend our trip to Vanuatu. The location is beautiful - the overall impact of the place is refined and relaxed, not glam and corporate. While it is close to Port Vila it is isolated enough to feel a thousand kms away from anywhere - and the combination of taxis and the staff bus made getting in and out of town easy enough. Constance and Mark are extremely helpful and welcoming, as are all the staff - it has the feeling of being welcomed into a family villa rather than a corporate style resort. The rooms are spotless, spacious and well appointed. With high ceilings and a large kitchen and lounge the villas are a very relaxing place to spend time reading and playing scrabble! The bedrooms are a little on the tight side but it didn't worry us - the bed itself was extremely comfortable. The food was good - we had coconut crab one night (7000 VT) which was beautifully prepared and great value especially as it was more than enough for two poeple. In general the meals are better here than most of the recommended retsurants around Port Villa, which tend to be resting on some long faded glory. The amenities were all fine - bikes, kayaks etc and Honeymoon beach and surf is only a ten minute bike ride away. The coral out the front is mostly gone unfortunately (a common problem around Vanuatu) but the fish life is well worth seeing. We thoroughly recommend Paradise Cove and it will be worth revisiting again in a few years when Mark and Constance have a chance to update a few things in the villas (like the cookers which are being replaced).

Room Tip: We had unit 1 and 4 and both were good but the units on the side of the block closest to Port Vila...

Our family went to Paradise Cove to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday (and Christmas & New Year...and my partners birthday) - a very festive trip - Constance, Mark and all of the staff made this one of the best holidays I have had! The accommodation was immaculate (fresh flowers & fruit every day), the meals and drinks were all great (and very reasonably priced). They also had birthday cakes for both occaisions. The best part (well - there were lots of best parts) - but one of the great parts of staying at Paradise Cove is the snorkelling - straight off the end of the jetty is a spectacular tropical reef area with plenty of wildlife. We spent hours in the water! Also, on the water, with kayaks availble for guests. Constance and Mark organised trips and tours for us around Efate - which made our stay all that much easier. All in all a great place to go for a holiday - a relaxing place with great atmosphere. The two little kids (2yr) we had with were also very well taken care of (toys, food & baby sitters when we needed). Highly reccommend Paradise Cove to anyone...especially at happy hour!!

Room Tip: All the bungalows are good! Doesn't matter which one!

Paradise Cove Resort really exceeded our expectations. We truely had such an amazing time and it all came down to the staff at this resort. They were all so friendly and welcoming and because there are only 10 bungalows within this resort, you actually feel like a VIP as they really cater to everyones individual needs. EG: We needed room service one night as our daughter had gone to bed early so my husband went to the restaurant (which is literally a 30second walk from each room through the beautiful coconut trees all lit up beautifully) ordered our dinner and the staff would bring it to our room. We were welcomed with freshly picked coconut water yes in a real coconut on arrival, shown to our rooms by Constance (owner) and shown the resort. Our mouths dropped instantly the moment we walked out to the restaurant/bar overlooking to beautiful water and own private beach. THE BEACH...the treasure of this resort I feel. Picture hammocks and beach chairs spread litereally steps away from the water itself and your own private jetty which you can step off into the water for the best snorkelling in Port villa itself! All for free to! No need to pay for snorkelling tours as you have it outside your bungalows doorstep for free. Each morning we had a beautiful breakfast which was included in the room price (which again was so reasonable) and the breakfast was AMAZING. The time and effort spent into making each fresh fruit platter was just beautiful. Fresh coconut, mango, watermelon, and oh the taste of the passionfruit and pineapple was out of this world. And more crossants toast cereal coffee and tea...is definately too much food so you won't need anymore unless you prefer a hot breakfast. The bungalows were so big and beautiful. We only had a 1bedroom for myself hubby and daughter but that was all we needed. It was so peaceful and relaxing in the bungalows and we cooked our own dinners a few nights after going into town to the supermarket. The food was amazing and the cocktails were so yummy aswell. Paradise Cove it about 15-20mins drive from the main town area itself but its not far at all and its such a nice drive into town whether you catch a bus or get a car yourself. I recommend a hire car for a day or two so you can drive where you want - especially Blue Lagoon and Cascades Waterfalls for amazing memories. (You dont need a tour for these two locations easy to do yourself) I could hoenstly ramble on and on about how beautiful and spot on Paradise Cove is. We are already planning our next trip to this stunning resort you won't be disappointed if you chose here. We visited a few resorts during the day and no matter what, I would still chose Paradise Cove because of how important you feel there, you literally feel like the only one staying there and you had the whole place to yourself. So chose this resort if you want peace, and want to feel like you have actually had a holiday. And if you wanted to be waited on by beautiful staff who acknowledge you by name and become your friend while you are there. Happy to answer any other questions!

Room Tip: all rooms are basically the same when it comes to location, they all ahve beautiful private patios w...

We went to Paradise Cove Resort for snorkelling. It is a bit out of the way from Port Vila but it's well worth the expense. It doesn't cost entry fee like Hideaway Island and staff is friendly and welcoming. Meals and drinks and service are excellent. It is also not so overrun like Hideaway Island and there is plenty of space to sit and relax underneath the huge thatched roof restaurant and bar. We saw the bungalows only from the outside but they seemed very tidy and well equipped with lovely outdoor furniture and hammocks and very private. It seems to be the ideal place for people who look for a tranquil place where they still get awesome food and service. If I ever go to Vanuatu again, this will be the place I'd want to stay.

We've just come back from 7 nights in Vanuatu staying at Paradise Cove Resort. Two adults and a 7 and 9 year old. It was awesome with fabulous friendly staff, excellent location out of Port Vila on Mele Bay, great snorkeling and an excellent chief providing delicious food including fresh fish bought directly from the fisherman on Paradise Coves small wharf.

There is a good pool and with only ten twin bedroom units making a great and personal atmosphere under the management of Marc and Constance - fabulous, welcoming and informative hosts.

We can not recommend Paradise Cove enough.

Anyone going we strongly recommend the Mele Cascade falls and Blue Lagoon. A great day trip with kids.

I did two mornings of two dives with Big Blue Diving organised through the team at Paradise Cove. Surprisingly good dives for being so close to Port Vila, excellent rental gear and again that awesome Vanuatu friendliness with the dive guides.

Next to Paradise Cove is the Coco Resort that you can go for a change for dinner but frankly we found the food a poor second to Paradise Cove and over priced. Unless you're heading into town, you're better off eating with the best - Paradise Cove.
