We stayed at Mifala during October 2014 for my daughter's wedding. We had family travel from Scotland as well as from Australia. Tony the owner was extremely helpful, response to emails with queries answered promptly. It was a very special occasion and Tony treated us accordingly. The location was beautiful the house was big, roomy and private. The girls would come in every morning and tidy up and see if we required anything. The kitchen was well equipped as the wedding was catered for and the Chef was very impressed by the facilities provided at Mifala. We had full use of the house including a fully functional laundry. The grounds were very tidy and we had the use of a private jetty, small tinny as well as kayaks. We utilised the additional accommodation on the grounds and did get use out of the tennis court. We enjoyed the company of Shadow the resident dog who endeared himself to everyone in our group. Perfect wedding……perfect location. I would recommend Mifala to anyone wishing to have a private self catering holiday.

We enjoyed a relaxing week with our friends, the dinghy was great to explore the lagoon and the guys loved going out to do a bit of fishing and even caught a few. Everything was provided and we especially loved the resident dog "Shadow" who we loved to spoil, he was a good companion. Vanuatu has recovered well from cyclone Pam and the weather was beautiful along with the people. I would recommend this home as a great base for a fantastic holiday.

Wasn't just the location, the huge layout, the friendly daily maid, nothing in particular, just that everything was perfect. Six adults and four kids under four, what could go wrong? The kitchen and BBQ were great and very well equipped for home cooking with the little ones. We loved the new tennis court. The canoes and standup paddle board were brilliant, as was the run across the lagoon in the dingy for coffee and good sushi on the deck at Starfish Cove. There's a day horse ride place about 100 metres along the road. The owners have a resort and their suggested drivers are good and honest. We have a holiday rental house and appreciate the quality and professionalism of these people. Very happy with everything. Oh yes, the internet and TV were great too. Only thing, the pool would not be legal in Oz without a fence. And don't take the tinny down through the lagoon entrance, sand flats and reefs abound.
