“Getting very old”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 April 2014

This hotel is situated in a quiet side street and you get a quiet nights sleep, but the hotel is really getting old and shabby. The breakfast was very good. We only stayed for one night and if we had to stay longer we would have changed. For the same price we had much better hotels in Mandalay and Bagan. The staff was polite, but not the charming Myanmar welcome we had elsewhere. I would not recommend this hotel to my friends. Either renovate it or lower the price. You can also hear everything going on next door.

Room Tip: The rooms are small and dark. You can hear everything going on next door.

Due to poor planning on our part, we arrived in Yangon late on the first night of the water festival. We tried one other hostel but they were booked. They offered to call Three Seasons for us. A bit difficult to find late at night, but a nice man was waiting for us when we arrived. He was helpful, polite, accommodating, and friendly. The air conditioner works better than mozt places we've stayed in Myanmar so far. Water pressure in the shower is light but fine. Breakfast is above average for budget accommodation. I would recommend Three Seasons to anyone trying to travel around Yangon on a budget (which is not easy!).

Good place as a base in Yangon. Staff very helpful and friendly. street is very quiet although many cars parked on it. Only had one power cut here but it has its own generator so power was up again within 10 minutes.

We booked two nights here at the start of our trip so we had accommodation once we got back to Yangon and paid a €30 deposit.

The day we were due to come back to Yangon we emailed them to cancel the first night as one of our group was ill and we decided to stay where we were than risk a five hour bus journey. We also had the hotel we were staying at phone them but they couldn't get through.

We turned up to stay for the second night and were told that they had given our room away. We mentioned the email and the guy at the front desk said they had never received it and they had checked last night. We showed them the email on the phone and still they said they didn't have it.

In the end they said they would check their emails and if the email existed they would give us the room and relocate the other people. Long story short the email existed but we decided to stay somewhere else the man was rude. Plus it didn't seem fair to kick someone out.

We really enjoyed our stay at Three Seasons and appreciated the help we got from Miss Hla Hla and the staff. Three Seasons is in a handy location and is very safe and secure. Great value. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for two nights. The room was a bit pricey for the quality ($35US/night)and the double room only had two single beds. The water pressure was not great either. The owner and her staff are great and make you feel welcome and will help you with anything you need (flights, bus, local info..etc). The price includes breakfast which is a great spread of fruit, toast and eggs. The location is okay if you're planning on seeing the city on foot. There are plenty of street vendors selling food within a short walk and many tea houses close by too. Overall our stay was pleasant and we left happy, however, it may pay to shop around.

We stayed at Three Seasons when we first arrived in Yangon and before we left. The rooms are not exceptional for the price but given that it is the same throughout Myanmar we felt that the service was the distinguishing point. The Lady who runs it is very helpful and works hard to ensure that all our questions are answered. She arranged our bus to Bagan, we were able to leave our extra luggage with her and she even hung up a suit bag in her own closet while we travelled for 2.5 weeks in Myanmar. One time, she had to drop her nephew off at the train station and we had to go as well so she paid for the taxi and we all went together and I thought that was sweet.

The breakfast, while the same every morning was substantial and it was never an imposition to serve breakfast earlier than the stated time. While the rooms were dark(mostly due to weak lighting) and basic, they had air conditioning and were very clean. We stayed there twice not because of the rooms but because the staff was so good and the price was reasonable for a mostly inflated pricing system in Myanmar for guest houses. The rooms had hot water and were clean which are most important to us and the staff would leave fresh jasmine flowers so it smelled wonderful in our room when we arrived and they had cold bottled water in the fridge for us.
