The view of the shwedagon pagoda at night, illuminated with lights was magnificent. Food wise, it was nothing to shout about as you would be able to buy food at a fraction of the cost, if you were eating at a proper sit down restaurant, in the heart of the city, near the markets.
I reckon you are paying for the view. The wait staff were polite and attentive. However, the table cloth was a little stained, which I thought odd for such an establishment.
