Our cruise ship arranged for a large group of us to have a buffet luncheon at the Emporium. We were all surprised at the high standard of food as well as the hotel and its management.
The restaurant offered local items, as well as Indian, Malaysian and Chinese foods. They had a nice selection of desserts, even beer (for a charge). The executive chef served us and explained the various dishes offered. The hotel manager made sure everyone was happy. He was the hotel's best sales representative. My husband and I would chose this hotel not only to dine in but stay at the property next time I visit Yangon.
